Taco Bell Fire Hot Sauce is good

The problem with TB hot sauce is that I go to Del Taco more, and then I get all the sauces mixed up.  Mainly cuz it can be confusing as to which sauce is hottest.  But yeah, TB Fire is the best TB one.  Their hotter one is interesting, it's got a bit of green pepper taste to it,  But it's also much hotter, so I have to make sure I don't use a whole packet.

What is it with Americans and sweet potatoes in everything!? I need it explained to me. In my 20 years here, I still haven't cracked that one.

Other than thanksgiving or a place that serves sweet potato fries special I don't think I've had sweet potatoes in anything else.  Maybe you should explain what you're talking about instead.

Maybe you should explain why you need me to explain what I'm talking about? Ever think of that smarty pants?

And sweet potato fries...who...why!?

Maybe in Germany sweet potatoes are something else.

Like my Swiss friend described when she came to America she heard there was a place called Wienerschnitzel (which I guess actually means something in Germany / Switzerland ) and was disappointed to find out it was just a hot dog place.

It has good flavor but it’s unbearably hot to me. I can’t eat it.

Even the “hot” option (a step below fire) is too hot. So I usually dilute it with mild sauce (2 mild packets mixed with 1 hot) and it’s perfect and I can eat it without pain but still have a little spice.

You just don’t like hot things. Which is OK.

Fire is only about 500 Scoville, I can tell the difference between it and mild, but it’s not really comparable to “hot” food at most restaurants.

Funny thing is this exact same thing happened to me in Cali. It's like naming a place PRIME RIB and it exclusively serves chicken fingers. THis is an actual Wiener Schnitzel meal to illustrate her confusion:

Wiener schnitzel Its a breaded veal cutlet.  Maybe its a Cali thing not knowing that?  Because it is pretty common restaurant item in the Midwest and in central Canada -- particularly at Oktoberfest.

Since GI is hot garbage, I have decided to abduct this thread and post daily hot sauces reviews until I review every hot sauce my wife has in the spice cabinet. Tomorrow, we start with Valentina.

Edit: There used to be a different post here but I erased it bc I'm a dumbass. C'est la vie.
