I went to Costco to pick up some soy milk today.  There are police parked outside it permanently (just in case), the workers tell me they have been there since Friday.  They are wiping down the handle of the carts with disinfecting wipes at the entrance (strangely enough they are not brining in carts, so you've already pushed it in from the parking lot) -- so I don't quite get the point.

The place was packed, yet deathly quiet.  They were completely sold out of non-spaghetti pasta, canned vegetables, non-carbonated water and toilet paper.  The current group of shoppers seemed to all be buying paper towels and laundry detergent.  There was one dude who was buying Perrier, about 80 litres of milk, 10 litres of half-and-half cream and a couple of large gasoline jerry cans.  (I thought this was a particularly odd combination.)

Same by me. Just got home. The food court was closed as well. The horror.

My wife's work (TD) just now finally today told their employees that they must WFH for the next 3 weeks. Yesterday night it was "if you must due to children you can".

My work switched to WFH last thursday but were discussing starting as early as monday (we're only 5 people building software, we already had a pretty flexible wfh policy).
