Didn’t Bolsonaro declare the election would be fraudulent, like, two years ago?

I think he’s been prepping for a coups from day one.

Trump did the same in 2016 and everyone laughed at him. Fascism isn't stupid, it understands stupid.

Sounds like there's a coup/rigging attempt happening. The national traffic police are stopping public transit in areas where Lula is strong, hoping to aid Bolsonaro. The courts have forbid this, but 🤷‍♂️. Orders came from President's office.

So Bol is definitely going to "win", right?

I work with a guy who emigrated from Brazil two years ago, I'll be curious to hear his thoughts tomorrow. He's said that he likes neither candidate and that they are both criminals. He's also a big UFC fan...which makes me think he prefers Bolsonaro.

Ya that sounds like the usual "I don't like politics but ya kno Trump (Bolso) has some good ideas."

I'm happy he lost. Bitterly disappointed how close it was.

I don’t know much about it. Why don’t people like Lula?

There was a not-insignificant amount of corruption (especially involving the state oil company Petrobras) during his term of office.

Also, he's a leftist who improved conditions for Brazil's non-white population and underclass.
