GeneticBlueprint
He's been in lots of stuff since Goodfellas but it's crazy that he wasn't a bigger deal after that movie. He was fantastic in everything. RIP.

Greatoneshere
Whoa that's crazy. He died while in his sleep during the shoot of a film (he was in the Dominican Republic) so that means this is completely unexpected. Great actor, did all kinds of stuff including genre fare, what a shame, 67 isn't that old either.

Bloodporne
Great opportunity for everyone who hasn't seen it to watch Something Wild with him. He's fantastic in it and it's a brutally overlooked film. RIP Sir

SoberChef
Share a birthday with this amazing thespian. Been a fan of his work for a very long time now, those eyes of his are piercing! Smokin' Aces, Unlawful Entry, No Escape are just a handful of the "not automatic name recognition" films wherein just by him being in the film made it far better than they had any right to be. Thank you Ray ... hope the Chantix didn't take you bud!

Didn't see it until a couple years ago but it's already one of my favorite movies. He will be missed.

The way it does a heel turn from kind of a typical "square dude and wild woman" 80s Comedy into, well, what it turns into is really impressive. The generic cover and name really don't help unfortunately but man is it underrated. The performances by all involved are so good.

Yesterday, I told a co-worker about Ray Liotta and it blew his mind. Like really shocked him. A short time after, another co-worker was telling me that he was starting Chantix today, to stop smoking. I said something like, good luck, I hope you don't hallucinate and blew his mind because he had no idea of the side effects if it. Then later, someone else told him about Liotta and blew his mind again. There was a lot of mind blowing going on yesterday.

I had one great aunt that lived to like 95, but she married a mobster and lived a pretty cushy life. Other than that, I can't think of a single relative that lived past like... 75? My dad is 72 and is getting close to being the oldest relative I've ever known, beyond that great aunt I met like once

Actors and musicians also tend to abuse their bodies, whether from drugs/alcohol, or from things like constantly cycling crash diets. Like, who knows what Christian Bale has done to his liver and kidneys by constantly gaining/losing 50 pounds at a time. I'm sure he has a nutritionist that helps him do it as responsibly as possible, but the human body isn't really supposed to do that. Or the Rock, who has clearly been on steroid cycles for 20+ years now. Mentioning the drugs again: I'm a bartender and I get offered drugs all the time for free. I said no until the first time I said yes, then it took me years to learn to say no again. I can't imagine what being a celebrity is like. Some have self control, but most people don't. Or a different example: I work at a gay night club. People often ask "how to gay men always look so fit?" Answer: they work out a lot and eat healthy. Also, a lot of the gay men who frequent the party scene starve themselves for 3 days of the week and do a lot of meth and coke. I don't know, I guess I just don't assume celebrities will live longer. They may not deal with stress like normal folks, but they certainly stress their bodies like normal folks.

Aside from the poor clinical trials & high suicide rates attached to taking the med, it also has been found to be a cancer causer.
