Performance, animation, and dialog are usually perfectly executed, but some elements don't meet this high bar, and as a result, the experience can feel slightly disjointed. I didn't like the execution of some of the main baddies, both in a story context and on a technical level, and the story was sometimes too straightforward. Choices have interesting impacts, but the overall story beats remain largely the same - with the exception that a few protagonists are missing. What remains is a largely entertaining choice-based horror narrative that doesn't stray too far from Supermassive's tried-and-true formula.

Really enjoyed Until Dawn, but that came out when I could still rent a game from Family Video for a few days (that feels like a lifetime ago, btw). Not sure I’m ready to drop $70 on this now.

This was a great game to watch someone else play. I could never play one of these because getting everyone to die would be my goal every time.

finished my first playthrough yesterday.  i lost about half the cast :p but from ch 7 to the end what a banger of a story.

 

Stand out characters to me were definitely
