Joe Biden beats Donald Trump, officially making Trump a one-term twice impeached, twice popular-vote losing president

Sanders had the largest contingent of loud and obnoxious voters at my precinct by far.  I threw a guy into a rage just by asking him to give me a coherent definition of socialism that didn’t just amount to social democratic capitalism with a beefier welfare state.  Maybe kind of an abrasive question on my part (though I tried to ask it  in a civil tone) but jeez.

I'd totally buy this. Usually. But I just watched Pete's speech with his crowd and now I don't believe you one bit.

Step 1. Have people cast their vote on a piece of paper.

Step 2. Count the pieces of paper.

Step 3. Announce that the one who got the mostest votes won.

Who came up with this convoluted bullshit?

Prior to all this bullshit there were people here defending caucuses. Nothing about these things is sane, even if it works out fine. Paper ranked voting works just fine pretty much everywhere.

You'll find no record of me defending caucuses. If it were up to me, these things would be as simple and straightforward and as hard to fudge as possible.

We'd all use tiermaker.com like a fucking civilized nation.

I don't even know how any campaign could even begin  to seek redress through the courts for this as everything about it appears fundamentally broken at the base level.

And I refuse to believe they haven't always been. Even if everything works as intended, you're still only giving a voice to whoever wants to be a part of that chaos and has the time for it. I'm sure caucuses were great a hundred years ago when it was a whole 20 white guys in a room playing musical chairs.
