Joe Biden beats Donald Trump, officially making Trump a one-term twice impeached, twice popular-vote losing president

Recommended Posts

Absolutely bonkers. They'd have the tie breaking vote in the Senate. Why give that to someone who agrees with Mitch 95+% of the time but is nice to work with? So dumb.

Also has anyone like Biden or his camp ever hit Bernie with the "he's not a Democrat" attack? (That being a benefit in the general imo) cause this seems like it would completely uncut that message.

I can potentially see this being a dig (it's followed up with him not being able to think of one right now).

But at no point should an opposition party consider a member of the other party considering why I'm voting for the top of the ticket.

When I initially read the quote I thought he was making a joke about the state of the GOP. Who knows with this guy.

Regarding Sanders haul:

Quote

The campaign raised more than $18 million in December alone, its best fundraising month to date, officials said. The average donation in the fourth quarter was $18.53, they said.

His campaign said Wednesday it surpassed 5 million donations — a milestone Sanders did not reach in the 2016 campaign until after Super Tuesday, officials said.

Hard to take seriously an argument that he couldn't win the general election with that many individual donors.

I'm more curious to know what the hell Michael Bennet is thinking.

I find his voice friendly.

We had a "Kamala Harris" tag on this thread for reasons totally inexplicable to me.

The original thread was about Kamala Harris being close to jump in the race (I kept the original post on the bottom of the OP). I turned it into a 2020 candidates thread because the amount of people jumping in the race became quite large.
