  1. I know myself well enough. I just can't get it together to group up with people regularly, so this game would be wasted on me. Looks fun though.
  2. West of Loathing - I've had it on Steam for a while now, but only just got around to playing it. It's a super charming little adventure game/RPG.
  3. Big Bang Theory is one of those pop culture things that never really bothered me because it's easy to ignore. What's harder to ignore is all the people constantly going on about how much it sucks.
  4. Mile 22 - I'll say it really benefits from a short run time. It maintains a fast pace through both the action and (unfortunately) the character "development". Mark Whalberg's character is explained in an VO montage during the opening credits, which is a perfect example of how this movie is efficiently dumb. Everyone spouts exposition in a rapid fire Sorkin impression for the first 30 minutes just so we can get through that and get to the action ASAP. And that action is... nothing special. Although you do get to watch Iko Uwais beat the everloving shit out of a couple of guys in maybe the only scene I really liked, and later he's in a shootout in an apartment complex that reminds you that The Raid was great, so there's that. Watched under the right circumstances, there is some enjoyment to be had here. It's a good-bad movie.
  5. Octopath Traveler is a surprise to me. I never would have guess that a throw back JRPG with no name recognition would be #1. But I guess it didn’t have much competition.
  6. On paper, Rick and Morty is a thing I should love. I can’t stand it doe.
  7. Get the Duplass brothers on this. We need a mumblecore Bond. Greta Gerwig would be the Bond Girl, of course.
  8. Oh man, new movie from Gareth "The Raid" Evans. I'm jelly.
  9. I'm in more or less the same boat as @Chairslinger now. I have too many games as it is, there aren't that many games I feel compelled to buy immediately, and I'm trying to budget my money a little better now. I bought a Xbone this summer, and Game Pass alone is going to keep me really busy for a while. And of course I just keep going back to Hearthstone and Overwatch for most of my gaming time.
  10. I really wish I could enjoy this game. I love the voice packs.
  11. The Boomsday Project (AKA Puzzle Mode), the single player portion of this set, is now available. Log in to get 3 Boomsday packs in celebration.
  12. Would you tip the cashier at CVS if they were extra nice?
  13. What does the IMF have to do with this? Is Ethan Hunt going to parachute in and fix this with motorcycle chases and fist fights?
  14. Would you ever tip someone at a retail store? I think about this because I've been in retail for way too long, and especially when I spent more time on the sales floor, I would go way above and beyond for people. Not that I ever expected it, but I've never once been offered a tip. I'm sure those customers never thought about it either, because that's just not a thing. But why not?
  15. Ah, I didn't realize the old 20% was on more preorders. I guess that shows how often I'm preordering stuff these days. As for the expiration date, do people really go 60 days without buying something from Amazon?
  16. Most recently, I tried the Crash Bandicoot remasters. I don’t know what the hell I saw in those games as a kid. I can’t stand them now.
  17. I have a Corsair K68. I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I'm satisfied with it. I wanted something more or less basic and under $100.
  18. Forza Horizon 2 - continuing to explore the games that just appear on my Xbox, I decided to download this one as a sort of preview for 4, which comes out in just a couple months. I don't play a lot of racing games, and this one is about as "realistic" as I can handle, but I'm digging it.
  19. I've enjoyed some Simpsons and Futurama in the past, but was never a superfan of either. I've watched the first couple episodes of this, and I like it. I'm glad that it's more serialized.
  20. Him ending up in reality with his kids is the sort of expected, happy ending. I think people might have been looking for an extra layer or twist that just wasn’t there.
  21. In 8th grade I plagiarized a paper about plagiarism. I didn’t realize I could make a career out of it.
