Since I got MP, I’ve averaged 5 movies a month. I could live with 3, and go on discount days for the others.

From what I understand, yeah, that's what it usually mean. Shows like True Detective, Fargo, and American Horror Story would also count since they have completely different stories/casts each season.

I bought a bunch of these games when this resurgence started, then I realized I don't actually enjoy them. I keep trying them, but none of them click with me.

Right? Nobody needs more than about 25,000 photos of anything.

I totally get it. I don't play as much as I used to, but it's still probably too much. How I play has definitely changed though. I'm not all that worried with keeping up with the meta and climbing the ladder anymore. You're more likely to find me around rank 20 wild, doing janky/fun decks like Burgle Rogue. That's why I'm not planning on spending any more money on it. I'll craft a couple fun cards and be done with it. And there's a chance that I might finally move on and get super into MtG Arena.

From what I can tell based on the little research I cared to do, it is public domain in some places. In the US, it won't be until 70 years after the author's death, which is 2020. I guess they really wanted to get going on this before the Animal Farm movie adaptation gold rush starts in a couple years.

I was raised Catholic (it didn't stick) and yeah, there are lot of "bad" Catholics out there.

I haven't played or kept up with Dead By Daylight, but I'm guessing it hasn't been super active lately. I like seeing a game like that come out on PS+. I can jump in with the all the other noobs who just got it too.

There's a new set coming, so I thought that the 4 of us who actually play this game could use a new thread to chat about it. :P The Boomsday Project will launch next Tuesday, August 7th. 135 New Cards Each class gets a new Legendary minion and a Legendary spell. New Keyword: Magnetic. Mechs are back! And now you can stick some of them onto others. A new theme without a keyword: Omega cards, which have an extra powerful effect that occurs if you have 10 mana crystals. Here's a handy Imgur album of the revealed cards (via Reddit) There are some doozies in there. The final reveal livestream is happening tomorrow, August 1st, at 10AM Pacific.

I played through the intro bit (which was really useful for me, because I know almost nothing about Magic) and one free game. I think I could get into it, but coming from Hearthstone, it's a little intimidating.

I've cut down on my alcohol consumption these days (I've gone through a couple of periods where I way overdid it), but I've been slowly exploring the local (Cincinnati) craft beer scene. A lot of them are completely fine, but nothing really worth seeking out. Although a lot of them seem to really love making IPAs, which I just can't do.

I wish any of the AMC theaters in my area were just a little more convenient to me. Each one is a good 20 minutes away, whereas a local theater is right around the corner from my apartment, and a Cinemark is right around the corner from my job. I also wish they got more limited releases. Still, it has enough good things going for it that I'll probably do the A-List thing pretty soon.

My guess is that their branding hit the right level of "exotic" for the casual consumer.
