5timechamp
Where does your overall preference fall in this? Does the best of Bond still trump all of MI (or vice versa), perhaps Jason Bourne is now the peoples choice? still pondering a top 5 myself... i didnt "love" any of the bourne movies so its a bond vs ethan fight here... Cant decide where Casino Royale and Goldeneye fit in a list..
EternallDarkness
I only really enjoyed the first of the Bourne films so Jason isn't even in the running. As for Bond vs MI they really are different animals. And while I love the MI films, I have a stronger connection with the Bond films. I pretty much grew up with them and memories of them are a link to my dad.
johnny
After Ultimatum the Bourne films sucked dick. I’m going with Bond.

GeneticBlueprint
I don't enjoy seizures so Bourne is definitely last. I love Mission Impossible's stunts and Tom Cruise. But I've been watching Bond since I can remember.
Nokt
For me personally I’d probably say Bond > MI > Bourne

TheLeon
If you laid out all of those movies in front of me, I’m reaching for a MI or a Bourne almost every time. As much as I love Casino Royale, a lot of the Bond movies just don’t do anything for me.
Keyser_Soze
I'd probably go Bond, Bourne then MI. I haven't seen any MI beyond two and the first one kinda sucked so I never got into them. It seems like they started getting good with the 4th movie.
Mercury33
I’d go Bond then MI then Bourne. I really love the MI and Cruise but like others have said, I have a much deeper connection to Bond from growing up. Plus I think Skyfall is the best movie from all three series. 5timechamp
-I must be one of the only ones with no "love" for Bond... I enjoy most of the movies just fine... my "connection" movies are more in line with the Leone Trilogy, Warriors, The Crow type stuff... -Finally having a day off im trying to determine what order I would dare put some of these films... (bourne is a non-factor with me too btw): -From Russia w/Love.... the real SPECTRE film -Casino Royale... My favorite overall Bond, Quantum of Solace works only when used as immediate continuation, I dont "hate" QOS as most do -Goldeneye... The first Bond I truly enjoyed drew me into the rest -Skyfall... Roger Deakins visuals definitely help it stand out, lots of shadows with the Dark Knight too -Ghost Protocol... So many great set pieces, plus Pegg adds to the crew -Rogue Nation... Ethan is losing badly throughout most of the movie, he barely outmaneuvers the bad guy....plus Ilsa is great -Fallout... I still insist they should have followed through and had one of the big "shocks" not be a fakeout..more Ilsa, more shadows of the Dark Knight (fights two-face at the end even)
Emblazon
The comparison can only be between the JBs. And obviously the correct answer is Jack Burton.

SaysWho?
Bond for me easily. I remember watching Bourne Supremacy when it released in theaters and not enjoying it. The thing is, I feel how I watch movies have changed, and I never watched the first one, so there was a lot working against me lol. The main thing that I disliked was the way it was shot; I couldn't follow anything.
Greatoneshere
I like all three franchises, but the win goes to James Bond though there is a lot to love in both the Mission: Impossible and Jason Bourne film series.
TwinIon
I feel the greatest emotional connection to Bond, though it has the enormous benefit of having more films than the other two series combined, spread out over a variety of actors, directors, and decades. Mission Impossible has been the most consistent. There's really only the one bad one, and even that's still fun. Lately it's been consistently excellent, even if it's become less varied. I enjoy the first three Bourne movies, but I never loved them as much as some. I know people put the first three up there with the best trilogies ever, and I've never thought it got close.
