Fizzzzle
This morning, I woke up with practically every muscle in my body feeling like I just did an intense workout. My back, my arms, my neck, my abs, even my legs a little bit all feel like I did some major weight lifting yesterday. But I didn't. I did inventory at work, went on a date, and took a nap yesterday. I remember this happening once before, where I had a dream in which I was running up a hill of sand. I woke up with my legs being sore as fuck. This is like that, but I don't remember any dreams. Commissar SFLUFAN
I'm nearly 50 years old. Waking up with unexplained soreness is nature's way of letting me know that I'm still alive.

Nokra
Might be worth testing for the 'rona, but yeah I've also just woken up with e.g. a stiff neck or back. Did you sleep a super long time? That makes my back sore sometimes, if on rare occasion I'm in bed for 9+ hours.
Dodger
I get random neck and back soreness sometimes, but not full body soreness unless my lazy ass actually did something the day before

DarkStar189
The few times I've had an all over body soreness(with no explanation) was when I was coming down with a virus. Happened when I got covid too.

A few months ago I was in bed one night reading. I had propped two pillows on top of each other temporarily to read. I fell asleep and I guess slid downward as a few hours past. I woke up around 2:30am almost screaming out in pain. Had the worst neck pain of my life and was scared I caused legit damage. Took over a month to go away completely. 1
