And no way am I doing cancer treatments if I somehow make it to 97. My cut off for any unpleasant life extending treatments is 70.

Kind of reminds me of what my dad used to say. If there was some barely functioning geriatric in a wheelchair he'd say, "If I ever look like that shoot me"

It always weighs heavily on my mind if when he was dying maybe he considered he would end up like that.

I was gonna say, seems like it'd otherwise be a huge waste of time and money to try and cure stage 4 lung cancer on someone almost a century old. Palliative care makes a lot more sense.
