After an unexpected Bye week, not a lot has changed.  A couple leaderboard swaps, a slip up, and BasemntDweller2 still sitting on top.  As we go into Week 16, will Santa deliver us a Christmas miracle in the form of a new leader?

 

########## WEEK 14 RESULTS ##########


Week 14 Feature Game: Baltimore Ravens (-1.5) at Cleveland Browns
The Ravens soar past the Browns in a shootout, winning by a score of 45.5(47-1.5)-42.  Bets on Bal'mr win.

 

QUESTIONS 

1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Ravens TD, Ravens FG, Ravens safety, Browns TD, Browns FG, Browns safety, or other? ($1,200 for the correct call)
The first points were put up with a Nick Chubb 7 yard run for a TD.  Browns TD is the call.

 

2) Which team in the Feature Game will have the most combined rushing yards? ($1,000 for the correct team)
The Ravens combined for 231 rushing yards to Cleveland's 138, thanks primarily to a stupid 124 from Lamar Jackson. Guesses on the Ravens get it.

 

3) Minnesota @ Tampa Bay - Does either team score 3 times unanswered? ($1,000 for the right guess)
Starting in the 2nd quarter and continuing into the 3rd, the Bucs scored 4 times unanswered (TD, TD, FG, TD).  Yes is the call.  Biggie was the only player to get this right.

 

4) Name any two teams that combine for over 50 points. They do not have to be playing each other. ($1,500 a correct combo)
I think everyone got this one.

 

5) Call the winners:
Houston at Chicago
Arizona at N.Y. Giants
Indianapolis at Las Vegas
($1,200 for EACH correct named game winner, $2,500 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
Several players called 2/3 of these.  Nobody got all 3 to earn the bonus.
 

6) Name any kicker who will successfully hit a field goal from 50+ yards out. ($2,000 for the correct player)
Slug was the only player to call a kicker that hit from 50+.
 

7) Name any team that will record 4 or more sacks in Week 14. ($2,000 for the correct team)
10 teams got 4 or more sacks in Week 14. If you called one, you got it.
 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week fourteen. ($6,000 for each player named correctly, $12,000 bonus if both names are called)
Derrick Henry rolled for 215 yards to take the rushing crown while DeAndre Hopkins and Travis Kelce shared the receiving title with 136 yards each. Nobody called any of these players.

WEEK 16 MOCK GAMBLING - SPREAD AND QUESTIONS 

 

DEADLINE FOR WEEK 16 ENTRIES - Friday, 12/25/2020 04:29pm EASTERN

Week 16 Feature Game
Buffalo Bills (-7.5) at New England Patriots
(Remember you are betting against the spread)


QUESTIONS 

1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Bills TD, Bills FG, Bills safety, Patriots TD, Patriots FG, Patriots safety, or other? ($2,000 for the correct call)
 

2) Which team in the Feature Game will average the most yards per play? ($1,500 for the correct team)
 

3) Atlanta @ Kansas City: Over or under 53.5 points? ($1,500 for the right guess)
 

4) Name any two teams that combine for LESS than 25 points. They do not have to be playing each other. ($2,000 a correct combo)


5) Call the winners:
Philadelphia at Dallas
Indianapolis at Pittsburgh
Denver at L.A. Chargers
($1,500 for EACH correct named game winner, $3,000 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

 

6) Will any single receiver catch 3 or more touchdowns in Week 16? ($1,500 for the correct player)

 

7) The Browns can clinch their first playoff berth in almost two decades this week. In order for it to happen the Browns have to beat the Jets AND one of the following three things happens: the Dolphins lose to the Raiders, the Ravens lose to the Giants, or Colts lose to the Steelers.  Do the Cleveland Browns clinch their first playoff spot in 17 years in Week 16? ($1,500 for the correct answer) 

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week sixteen. ($8,000 for each player named correctly, $16,000 bonus if both names are called)
