In a week that saw conservative betting and not a ton of gains from Question cash, ManUtdRedDevils strolls back into the top spot easily outgaining the rest of the leaderboard in Week 7.  Can he hold on with half the leaderboard in single week betting distance and nobody out of the running as we enter the halfway point of the regular season? 

 

########## WEEK 7 RESULTS ##########

 

Week 7 Feature Game: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3.5) at Las Vegas Raiders
Brady and the resurgent Bucs ran roughshod all over the Raiders, winning by a score of 41.5(45-3.5) to 20.  Bets on Tampa Bay win.

 

QUESTIONS

1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Buccaneers TD, Buccaneers FG, Buccaneers safety, Raiders TD, Raiders FG, Raiders safety, or other? ($700 for the correct call)
A David Carr 20 yard TD to Nelson (Haha!) Agholor kicked off the scoring in this one, way back when it felt like maybe LV would surprise everyone. Alpha1Cowboy was the only player to call this.

 

2) 3rd down efficiency: Which team in the Feature Game will convert the highest percentage of their 3rd down tries? ($600 for the correct call)
Tampa converted 58.33% of their 3rd down tries while Las Vegas got the 1st on 38.46% of theirs.  Guesses on the Bucs get this one.

 

3) Name any two teams that will not break the single digits scoring in Week 7. No, teams on a Bye do not count. ($700 for the correct answer)
Dallas and New England were the only teams who failed to reach at least 10 points in Week 7.  Nobody called both teams.

 

4) Name the Quarterback that will have the highest completion percentage in Week 7. ($900 for the correct player)
Terry Bridgewater was your efficiency leader at the QB spot in Week 7, completing 82.1% of his passes.  thewhyteboar was the only player to nail this question.

 

5) Call the winners:
Detroit at Atlanta
San Francisco at New England
Dallas at Washington

($600 for EACH correct named game winner, $1,000 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

Several players got 2 of these, but only Keyser_Soze guessed all 3 correctly to earn the bonus.


6) Which team will get more total offensive yardage in the Pittsburgh @ Tennessee game? ($600 for the right name)
The Steelers racked up 362 total yards of offense to Tennessee's 292.  Bets on the Burgh get it.

 

7) Name the team that will record the fastest single sack in Week 7 (least time between the snap of the ball and the QB eating dirt)? ($800 for the correct call)
Keanu Neal for Atlanta comes on a surprise blitz from the safety spot to come across the line unblocked and drop Stafford just 2.2 seconds after the snap for the fastest sack of the week. Biggie was the only player to call the Falcons on this one.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week seven. ($3,000 for each player named correctly, $6,000 bonus if both names are called)
Antonio Gibson gashed the Cowboys for 128 yards to be your Week 7 rushing leader while Tyler Lockett had a big 200 yard day for Seattle to lead all receivers.  Nobody called either player.
