BasemntDweller2 hangs on to his commanding lead with no entry as the Bucs' terrible Feature Game performance sends several players skidding down the leaderboard! 

 

########## WEEK 9 RESULTS ##########


Week 9 Feature Game: New Orleans Saints (-7.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Saints cover and then some, decimating the Bucs by a score of 30.5(38-7.5)-3.  Bets on Naw'lins win.
 

QUESTIONS


1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Saints TD, Saints FG, Saints safety, Buccaneers TD, Buccaneers FG, Buccaneers safety, or other? ($800 for the correct call)
Breesus throws a 14 yard TD for the first of the Saints' many, many scores this game.

 

2) How many total turnovers will there be in the Feature Game ($900 for the right number)
New Orleans lost 2 fumbles while Tampa threw 3 picks for a total of 5 turnovers.

 

3) New England @ N.Y. Jets: Over or under 42.5 points? ($700 for the correct answer)
With 57 combined points, the over gets it.

 

4) Which team will lose by the largest point margin in Week 9? ($900 for the correct player)
Look no further than our Feature Game for the biggest drubbing in Week 9, with Tampa losing by 35 points.

 

5) Call the winners:
Seattle at Buffalo
Detroit at Minnesota
N.Y. Giants at Washington
($800 for EACH correct named game winner, $1,400 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

A rough week for Question 5, as no bonus is awarded and only a couple players even got 2 correct.

 

6) Through 8 weeks we still have one winless team and one undefeated team.  Does that change in Week 9? ($700 for the right guess)
The Jets and the Steelers keep doing what they do best. The No's have it.

 

7) Which team gives up the fewest sacks on Thursday Night: Green Bay or San Francisco? ($700 for the correct call)
Both teams only gave up one sack each.  This question is a draw.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week nine. ($3,500 for each player named correctly, $7,000 bonus if both names are called)
Dalvin Cook goes off for 206 yards and Ritchie James pulls in 184 to be your yardage leaders for Week 9.  thewhyteboar and ManUtdRedDevils both called Cook, but nobody called James so no bonus awarded.

(Remember you are betting against the spread, not just the outright winner)

2) Which team in the Feature Game will have the greater Time of Possession? ($800 for the right team)


3) Who will score the first touchdown in the Minnesota @ Chicago game? ($1,000 for the correct answer)


4) Name any Quarterback who will be sacked 4 or more times in Week 10. ($900 for the correct player)


5) Call the winners:
L.A. Chargers at Miami
Seattle at L.A. Rams
Buffalo at Arizona
($800 for EACH correct named game winner, $1,500 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)


6) Making people miss: Name the player who will have the most yards after catch (YAC) in a single play this week. ($1,500 for the right guess)


7) Road trip: How many visiting teams win in Week 10? ($900 for the correct call)
