The last son of Krypton leaps over tall leader boards in a single bound as Kal-El814 takes the lead with an all-in bet on the Feature Game!  Will he hang on for another week to be our first back-to-back leader or is someone packing kryptonite?

 

########## WEEK 3 RESULTS ##########

 

Week 3 Feature Game - Green Bay Packers (+3.5) at New Orleans Saints
The Pack takes the game on the field and in the MGT by a score of 40.5(37+3.5)-30.  Bets on Green Bay win which was a good thing for almost everybody.

 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Packers TD, Packers FG, Packers safety, Saints TD, Saints FG, Saints safety, or other? ($400 for the correct call)
A Crosby 52 yarder puts 3 on the board for Green Bay as the first score of the game. Slug was the only player to call this one.

 

2) Which team in the Feature Game will complete passes to a greater number of different players? GB, NO, or tie? ($400 for the correct call)
Each team completed passes to 8 different players. Guesses on a tie get it. AbsolutSurgen was the only player to guess the tie.

 

3) Which team in the Feature Game will start the most drives from their opponent's side of the field? ($300 for the correct answer)
Only one drive started in enemy territory for the entire game, as Green Bay takes the ball over on the New Orleans 43 after a failed onsides kick attempt by the Saints at the end of the game.

 

4) Name the player that will score the first touchdown in the Bucs @ Broncos game. ($500 for the correct call; as always "score" means "the person holding the ball in the endzone")
Chris Godwin takes a pass from Brady 10 yards in the 1st to tally the first touchdown of the game.  Nobody called Godwin's name.

 

5) Call the winners:
Chicago at Atlanta
Washington at Cleveland
Kansas City at Baltimore
($400 for EACH correct named game winner, $700 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
A fews ones and twos and a couple of zeroes, but nobody called all three correct for the bonus.

 

6) Name the quarterback that will throw for the most total yardage in week 3 ($600 for the right name)
Rayne Prescott hangs 472 yards on Seattle's secondary in a losing effort to lead all passers in Week 3.

 

7) 11 teams are 0-2 after 2 weeks.  Name one that will get off the schneid in week 3.  ($400 for the correct call)
Of the 11 winless teams only 3, the Panthers, Lions and Dolphins, managed to get their first W of the year this week.  Nobody called any of these teams.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week three. ($1,600 for each player named correctly, $3,000 bonus if both names are called)
Minnesota gave us both of our Week 3 leaders as Dalvin Cook ran for 181 yards to lead all rushers while Justin Jefferson went for 175 receiving.  Nobody called either player.

Week 4 Feature Game
Denver Broncos (-1.5) at New York Jets
(Remember you are betting against the spread, not just the outright winner)

 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Broncos TD, Broncos FG, Broncos safety, Jets TD, Jets FG, Jets safety, or other? ($500 for the correct call)

 

2) Over or Under: 39.5 combined points in the Feature Game ($300 for the correct call)

 

3) Which team in the Feature Game will have the greater time of posession? ($300 for the correct answer)

 

4) Laundry day: Which team will have the most penalties assessed against them in Week 4? ($700 for the correct team)

 

5) Call the winners:
Buffalo at Las Vegas
Pittsburgh at Tennessee

Indianapolis at Chicago
Jacksonville at Cincinnati
($400 for EACH correct named game winner, $800 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

 

6) Air Inferiority: Name the quarterback that will throw for the most interceptions in Week 4 ($600 for the right name)

 

7) How many home teams will win in Week 4? ($500 for the correct call)

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week four. ($1,600 for each player named correctly, $3,500 bonus if both names are called)

No changes if they play before Tuesday.  For the purposes of the MGT the NFL week ends at the conclusion of the Monday Night Football games.  Word right now is that the game will be played on Monday instead of Sunday.  If that's the case, great.  If however the game is postponed beyond that, then Pittsburgh, Tennessee, and their players will have effectively tallied zeroes for all their Week 4 stats (0 yards, penalties, interceptions, etc. for the purposes of questions 4, 6, and 8 and a no-contest/draw for the purposes of questions 5 and 7).

Haha, well unfortunately it's not an option.  Questions five specifically is "Call the winners" and question 7 is "how many home teams will win"; if they draw, neither is a winner and would thusly be an incorrect answer for those questions.  Similar to how any player who called Philly or Cincy for question 7 last week did not get credit for the team getting off the schneid. :)

NOTICE TO ALL PLAYERS:

At the conclusion of Week 4 Pittsburgh, Tennessee, and their players will have effectively tallied zeroes for all their weekly stats (0 yards, penalties, interceptions, etc.) for the purposes of questions 4, 6, and 8 and a no-contest/draw for the purposes of questions 5 and 7.  If you need to adjust your answers to the questions based on this development, you have until the deadline this evening (08:19PM Eastern time) to edit your entry.

 

The Steelers/Titans game has been replaced with Colts/Bears in question #5.
