Week 2 sees the leaderboard shift as ManUtdRedDevils claims the top spot going into Week 3!  Will he be the first person to hang on for two weeks in a row?  Let's find out!

 

########## WEEK 2 RESULTS ##########

 

Week 2 Feature Game - New England Patriots (+4.5) at Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks barely eek out a win, just covering the points against the Patriots by a score of 35-34.5(30+4.5). Bets on Seattle win.

 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Patriots TD, Patriots FG, Patriots safety, Seahawks TD, Seahawks FG, Seahawks safety, or other? ($300 for the correct call)
Russel Wilson pitches a short ball out to Lockett for a score from 4 yards out.  Seahawks TD is the call.

 

2) Name the QB that will be sacked the most in the Feature Game ($300 for the correct call)
Wilson got sacked twice while New England only allowed one.  

 

3) Which team will have the single longest, non-kicking, play? ($300 for the correct answer)
Roethlisberger catches Chase Claypool down the sideline for an 84 yard TD and the longest non-kicking play of Week 2. Nobody called the Steelers.

 

4) Name the QB that will have the highest number of pass attempts in Week 2?  ($500 for the correct call)
Joe Burrow had the highest number of attempts by far, throwing the ball 61 times in a losing effort last Thursday night (the next closest was a three-way tie at 47 attempts).

 

5) Call the winners:
LA Rams at Philadelphia
Minnesota at Indianapolis
New Orleans at Las Vegas
($300 for EACH correct named game winner, $600 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
There was not a lot of faith in the Raiders to win the first game in their new home, but Dodger saw it coming and was the only players to get all three correct and earn the bonus.

 

6) Name both the highest and lowest scoring teams of Week 2 ($400 for each correct guess)
The Vikings were the low team on the scoreboard in Week 2, only putting up 11 points while the Packers led the...pack..hanging 42 against the Lions. Nobody called the Vikings, but Emperor Diocletian II called the Pack to earn some cash for this one.

 

7) How many turnovers (combined) will occur in the Thursaday Night "Battle of Ohio"? 0-1, 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, or 8+ ($300 for the correct call)
Each team was pretty careful with the ball, both only turning the ball over once.  2-3 is the call.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week two. ($1,500 for each player named correctly, $3,000 bonus if both names are called)
Aaron Jones rumbled for 168 yards on the ground while Julian Edelman pulled down 179 in the air to be your Week 2 yardage leaders. Nobody called either player.

Green Bay Packers (+3.5) at New Orleans Saints
(Remember you are betting against the spread, not just the outright winner)

 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Packers TD, Packers FG, Packers safety, Saints TD, Saints FG, Saints safety, or other? ($400 for the correct call)

 

2) Which team in the Feature Game will complete passes to a greater number of different players? GB, NO, or tie? ($400 for the correct call)

 

3) Which team in the Feature Game will start the most drives from their opponent's side of the field? ($300 for the correct answer)

 

4) Name the player that will score the first touchdown in the Bucs @ Broncos game. ($500 for the correct call; as always "score" means "the person holding the ball in the endzone")

 

5) Call the winners:
Chicago at Atlanta
Washington at Cleveland
Kansas City at Baltimore
($400 for EACH correct named game winner, $700 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

 

6) Name the quarterback that will throw for the most total yardage in week 3 ($600 for the right name)

 

7) 11 teams are 0-2 after 2 weeks.  Name one that will get off the schneid in week 3.  ($400 for the correct call)

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week three. ($1,600 for each player named correctly, $3,000 bonus if both names are called)
