The top of the leaderboard tightens up coming out of Thanksgiving, with half the leaderboard now in one-week striking distance of the top! Will this be the week someone knocks BasemntDweller2 off his perch?
 

########## WEEK 12 RESULTS ##########

 

Week 12 Feature Game: Washington Football Team (+3.5) at Dallas Cowboys
The Washington Football Team dismantled the hapless Cowboys by a score of 44.5(41+3.5)-16!  Bet's on the team named Team win.

 

QUESTIONS 

1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Football Team TD, Football Team FG, Football Team safety, Cowboys TD, Cowboys FG, Cowboys safety, or other? ($1,000 for the correct call)
A 1st quarter field goal by Greg the Leg gave Dallas a 3 point starting lead.

 

2) Name the player who will score the first touchdown in the Feature Game. ($1,500 for the correct player)
Rookie phenom Antonio Gibson beats everyone to the corner for a 5 yard score and the first trip to the end-zone in the Feature Game.

 

3) Name the player who will score the first touchdown in the Las Vegas @ Atlanta game. ($1,500 for the correct player)
Calvin Ridley grabs his first of multiple Matt Ryan TD passes on the day.

 

4) Name the player who will score the first touchdown in the Carolina @ Minnesota game. ($1,500 for the correct player)
Kirk Cousins sends 12 yarded up the middle to Justin Jefferson for the first TD.

 

5) Call the winners:
Houston at Detroit
Baltimore at Pittsburgh
Arizona at New England
($900 for EACH correct named game winner, $1,800 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
Because the BAL@PIT game was pushed out of the MGT week, nobody could pick 3 for the bonus.

 

6) Name the player who will score the first touchdown in the Chicago @ Green Bay game. ($1,500 for the correct player)
Davante Adams pulls in a huge leaping TD grab for the first of this game.

 

7) Name the player who will score the first touchdown in the Seattle @ Philadelphia game. ($1,500 for the correct player)
David Moore takes a short pass from Russ for the first TD of the Monday Nighter.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week twelve. ($4,500 for each player named correctly, $9,000 bonus if both names are called)
Derrick Henry rushes for 178 yards and Tyreek Hill pulls down a crazy 269 to be your yardage leaders in Week 12. Nobody called either player.

WEEK 13 MOCK GAMBLING - SPREAD AND QUESTIONS 

 

DEADLINE FOR WEEK 13 ENTRIES - Thursday, 12/06/2020 12:59pm EASTERN
THREAD WILL BE LOCKED AT THE DEADLINE SO GET YOUR ENTRIES IN!

 

Week 13 Feature Game
Buffalo Bills (-2.5) at San Francisco 49'ers
(Remember you are betting against the spread)


QUESTIONS 

1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Bills TD, Bills FG, Bills safety, 49'ers TD, 49'ers FG, 49'ers safety, or other? ($1,000 for the correct call)
 

2) How many total combined touchdowns will be scored in the Feature Game? ($1,000 for the correct call)
 

3) Which QB in Week 13 will have the highest number of pass attempts? ($2,000 for the correct player)
 

4) Name ANY two teams that combine for under 30 total points. They do not have to be playing each other. ($1,000 a correct combo)


5) Call the winners:
Detroit at Chicago
New England at L.A. Chargers
New Orleans at Atlanta
($1,000 for EACH correct named game winner, $2,000 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

 

6) Name any running back that will average 5 or more yards per carry with a minimum of 10 attempts. ($1,500 for the correct player)

 

7) Taking into account total distance traveled with the ball, name the team that will have the single longest play of Week 13. ($2,000 for the correct team)

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week thirteen. ($5,000 for each player named correctly, $10,000 bonus if both names are called)

A reminder about COVID re-scheduled games: The Mock Gambling "week" runs from kick-off of the first game of a new League week until the end of the last Monday game.  Games that are rescheduled outside of this window will not have their team or player stats considered for any question. (Assuming no further rescheduling, this means that the BAL@PIT game tomorrow afternoon and the DAL@BAL game next Tuesday are both currently out of consideration.)

 

I felt it prudent to post this reminder as there are many open-ended "what team/what player" questions this week.
