After a couple weeks away, I came back and started my NG+. It was hilarious charging through Stormveil and the Academy in like 45 minutes, absolutely crushing everything in one go.

It’s one of those movies that’s been referenced so many times, in so many contexts, I feel like I’ve already seen it. So by this point, I’m curious to see if I can enjoy this decades-later sequel armed with only what I’ve absorbed through cultural osmosis. I did that with Creed (that was my first “Rocky” movie), and I still understood probably 90% of the references, and I completely loved the movie.

At this point, I think I’m just going to see this without watching the original. For science.

I just checked, and I have a 200GB card with about 30GB still free. I might upgrade to a 512 at some point, but the file size on a lot of these games is surprisingly small.

Soundfall seems interesting. Like a more actiony Crypt of the Necrodancer.

I’m finally diving into this game. I’m liking it a lot, but I have one big problem: Serenoa simply never strengthens his convictions!

I'm excited for the theatrical rerelease of the first one. I skipped it in theaters the first time, for no good reason. They're operating on different scales, but I wonder if it's like Gravity. If you watch the movie at home, it's pretty good. When I saw Gravity in IMAX 3D, it was an all-time great cinematic experience.

I have had a couple moments where I was confused on the timeline. Am I really supposed to be tracking this by Jon Bernthal's hair?

This release reminds me that I can go back to the original and get that “don’t play the game for five years” achievement.

Haven’t had any symptoms, but I’ve never been tested, so who knows?

Those of you who have done the various dna thingys, did you find them worthwhile? I’m a little curious to see where I come from, but I don’t really know I would do with that. At most, it would maybe allow me to make certain racist jokes with immunity. Is that worth a couple hundred bucks? I guess it depends on the race.

I say and do a lot of things that could be construed as serial killer shit. Being adopted isn’t one of them

Finished Life is Strange: True Colors. Beautiful little game. Now I’m probably going to bounce around a while before settling into a new game.

I’m not saying that physically attacking people is ever the right answer. But if you’re going to do it, you’ve gotta work on your form. That shit was weak.

Some day, if I ever have enough friends that will actually play D&D with me, this will probably be exciting.

Ah damn, no more Boll movies?

Life is Strange: True Colors - I needed a change of pace, and so this recent addition to Game Pass was a welcome one.

Really enjoyed this season overall, I’m glad another one is coming soon. Adapting a series of books like this makes sense to me. 6 or so episodes per book, two of those a year. It would be great if they could keep that up for a few years. Question about the end, because I’m dumb
