    Respeced again, gave up on faith (like in real life) and put everything in STR (and VIG/END). I was maybe a little under leveled as I approached the late game. I was running past a lot of enemies at points because they were annoying. I also wasted a lot of runes on weapons that I would upgrade a bunch before even really trying them out. But the randos in the Haligtree area drop a ton of runes. Just running through and bashing all the soldiers between these two sites of grace gets you like 80k runes. It’s wild to scan back over the map and remember all the shit I’ve done in this game.

    Pissed that my local theaters are using their XD/Dolby screens for Sonic 2 and not this. But I’m seeing it this afternoon, and I might make it a wild double feature with Everything Everywhere.

    Once this was officially announced and I had given up my dream of a proper remake, my expectations were fairly low for what they would do with it. I've just played a little on Switch, and it basically looks and plays how I remember it. I scrubbed through that DF video, and at one point they're showing how it can drop to 10 FPS when using spells, and sure, that's bad. But here's my solution to that: let me cut that shit out! The little fast forward option is marginally better than nothing, but the zoom/dissolves in and out of combat, the elaborate spell animations - they are slow as hell, and they get real old real fast, especially now that we've had these fancy 3D graphics for a few decades. It's not impressive any more!

    I know I’ve said it before, but whenever you make a thread like this, it seems like bragging to me. Which is maybe indicative of how things are going for me.

    That sucks, but is the kind of thing I need to hear. I’m almost the opposite of a hypochondriac. Anything feels wrong, and I just ignore it until I absolutely can’t.

    I think I'm getting towards the end of Elden Ring. Since I bought the sequel on sale, I'm dipping back into Persona Q. Now I'm having a hard time remember why I stopped playing it in the first place, because I'm hooked!

    Yeah, the movie really took off for me once Garfield came in. There was a push to get No Way Home nominated for a Best Picture Oscar, which was kinda silly, but he would have been an inspired choice for a Supporting Actor nomination.

    I’m glad I checked on the 3DS shop. Persona Q2 is one of the last games I was looking for, and for some reason it wasn’t showing up on the browser store. I’m also tempted to grab another Etrian Odyssey game or two while I’m at it, but at this point I have like 6 games in that general style downloaded right now, and I’ve only finished one.
