  1. That’s a different project. A sequel to Greyhound was announced, completely separate from the Masters of the Air miniseries. They’re getting mentioned side by side because they are both Hanks-WWII-Apple projects, which is also why it’s confusing.
  2. I caught up on season 4 this week. I wish the Darlene/Wyatt storyline had lasted just a little longer, so we could have the scene where Social Services comes and says “We’re here to take your baby… What’s that? You just had a shotgun wedding to a teenager? Nevermind, this is definitely a household fit for this baby. Sorry to bother you.”
  3. Yeah, that’s the real reason I left the bar last night. I was stunned and appalled at all the gross nerds at a Harry Potter trivia night.
  4. Then how do I meet people? I am an introvert, 9 times out of 10 I'm happy just being home alone, but I've been really fucking lonely for a long time, and I don't know how to solve that.
  5. Well, that’s the thing. I don’t really have anyone to bring to something like this. In theory, that’s why I was going. Bunch of HP nerds at a bar inspired by The Shining. If I’m going to find my people anywhere, that seemed like the place.
  6. Don't use me as the benchmark. I only had a passing interest and just tried it because it was on Game Pass. I'm sure for someone who's really interested, the tutorial is fine.
  7. Looking at my lifestyle overall, it's actually weird I don't do the weed.
  8. I walked to a local bar that does pop culture trivia on Tuesdays. Tonight happened to be Harry Potter themed, and for better or worse, I know a lot about Harry Potter. I got there at 6:45 (trivia signup at 7), and it was packed. It’s a small place, and there wasn’t any room at the bar. There were maybe a couple of single seats available at tables, but I guessed they were taken. So I turned around and walked home.
  9. Become the Elden Lord, of course! I don’t know if you were looking for something more specific than “beat the game”. Once you get to the Capital and beat the main boss there, there’s a pretty direct path to follow to the end game.
  10. Now that I’m done with Elden Ring for now, I’m back to focusing on Tunic. I don’t have a great sense of how big of a game it is, but I’m guessing I’m at least halfway.
  11. And the credits roll! Just under the 100 hour mark. I’m sure I’ll jump into NG+ and fuck around here and there, but I think my obsession has mostly abated at this point. Hot take: this game is very good!
  12. I got today's framed on the first one, thinking "if it's this movie, that's a hilarious image to use".
  13. Never got around to it, if I’m being honest. Bought it when the first episode came out, thought “I’ll wait until the whole thing is out” and somewhere in those years I just completely lost interest. The people who like it reeeally like it.
  14. Kentucky Route Zero. Episodic game that released over the course of roughly a billion years, finally finished a year or two ago.
  15. Hit a point where I decided I’m ready to be done. I’m sure there are places I’ve missed, and I know I’ve lost the thread on several quest lines, but I’ve cleaned up the bosses I bounced off earlier (minus Melania, I’m fine skipping her). I found a hammer that does scarlet rot damaged, and laughed when I saw it could be infused as well. So now it does bleed as well. Leveled up that bad boy to +25, and I’m sure it’s far from the “best” weapon I could be using, but against the right enemies it’s hilarious. Especially when my mimic gets one too, we just melted some of the last bosses.
  16. I won during Christmas, so I would feel bad about winning here. But, I feel bad about everything, so bring it on!
  17. I mean… yeah. The idea appealed to me because it seemed easy/simple. Realistically, I know for it to replace my current job would be far more than I’m willing to do. That grind is the thing I’m looking to avoid!
  18. I honestly have been wondering lately if I could just walk dogs and pet/house sit as my full time job. My sister has given my name to some friends/neighbors, and I have a couple of gigs lined up for the summer. She lives in one of the nicer areas in town, and they all have dogs. But that also feels like a teenager’s first job type deal, not something for a dude in his early 30s.
  19. Depends on what else you’ve done up to that point. Probably need to head towards the capital (East of Altus Plateau) if you haven’t already.
  20. Wow man, consider me sufficiently owned.
