  1. Leave ‘em alone, they’re cute together.
  2. Just sell/give away everything you own, and start walking until you find a new place to restart your life. It’s free, and great exercise!
  3. I probably had it and was just asymptomatic, but I haven’t felt remotely sick for the last couple of years. I’ve fallen apart in many other ways to compensate.
  4. I started playing Crown Trick on Switch. I completely missed it when it came out a couple years ago, but it caught my eye when I was looking for something… well pretty much exactly this. It’s a dungeon crawling rouge-like that’s turn-based, but turns are really fast/simple. So things move quickly - if you keep moving/attacking it almost feels like an action game, but you can stop and plan out your moves whenever things get hectic (which is often). I’m not super deep into it yet, but it’s made a great first impression. And speaking of sales, it’s $6 on Switch now.
  5. Are second run theaters still a thing anywhere? My first high school job was at one, but it closed after a year (I was too young to care about the details, but I’m pretty sure the owner was an idiot). There was one down the street from me when I lived in Wichita that I loved, but it got sold to Regal in 2017 and they shut it down a year later. There were plenty of movies that I didn’t want to buy a full price ticket for, especially when I was making just slightly above minimum wage. But if you could wait a month or two until it came to the dollar theater, where you could get a ticket, a small drink and popcorn for like seven bucks? There was nothing better. Sure, the theater was kind of a dump, but who cares? I was able to get out of my shitty apartment for a couple hours and enjoy a movie for almost nothing. But now I guess after a month or two nearly everything is streaming, so there’s probably not a space for that any more.
  6. Back when I was really into Steam sales, somewhere around $7-8 was my “fuck it, why not” price. That’s why I have hundreds of Steam I’ll never touch.
  7. #Heardle #142 🔊🟩⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ https://spotify.com/heardle That was my throwaway guess!
  8. I’ve been pretty good lately about not buying games just because they’re cheap (a bad habit that can add up quickly), but I also bought this a little while ago. Why? Because I’ve been playing the early FF games and that’s kinda rekindled my enjoyment of JRPGs? Cool, but I’m never gonna play more than a couple hours of that game, I just know it.
  9. No matter how good this is, I’ll never be able to fully appreciate it because the whole time I’ll be thinking “was this really worth half a billion dollars”
  10. What’s a P2W Skate game look like? If things like tricks and better boards are locked behind purchases and/or an extended XP grind, that could annoying. But if it’s primarily cosmetics, let dummies buy up all that shit and enjoy a free game!
  11. As fun as it would be to work for the makers of the Urban Sombrero, I decided to apply for a promotion in my current company instead.
  12. Ignore them and spend more time with your deck.
  13. Really liked the show overall. I like how most of that final encounter was either hijinks or self-defense, with Kamala really only fighting back when necessary. If they do a second season (presumably after The Marvels) I really want just a straightforward, case of the week, New Jersey-centric action show.
  14. I bought this game on Xbox a little while ago during a nice sale. It’s very mechanically interesting, but as soon as I started playing with other people, I was getting killed so quickly I couldn’t even tell you what happened.
  15. I don’t think I would recognize any gymnast. Even the one from that scowling picture, that was long enough ago she probably looks different.
  16. Now that’s a good call. I need to get caught up on Evil.
  17. #Heardle #138 🔊🟩⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ https://spotify.com/heardle Shoutout to Framed #124 🎥 🟥 🟩 ⬛ ⬛ ⬛ ⬛ https://framed.wtf
  18. Technically, the drama is a board problem.
  19. At one point I had like $300 of random shit in my cart, then I realized I don’t need anything.
  20. Had a totally normal double feature last night: Five Graves to Cairo, a 1943 Billy Wilder WWII drama, and The Bob’s Burgers Movie. Their central mysteries were equally compelling.
  21. Since they’re listed as separate downloads on the Xbox store, I assume there is no “smart delivery” or upgrades happening.
  22. Gimme a soundbar that lights up and makes the lightsaber sound when you turn it on, and you’ve got a deal.
