I’ve thought about it a lot. If it wasn’t for that whole “stand on stage and be the center of attention” bit, I think I could really enjoy the life of a stand up comic.

And now they get to look like heroes for letting the auteur complete his vision. Is that how it works?

The “loyal strategist” is named Benedict, huh? Will there be an option to turn off the VO? Why is it always my instinct to dunk on this game? I’m looking forward to it, though I couldn’t tell you exactly why.

If you didn’t like Nomadland, I’m not sure it would change your mind on Zhao, but have you seen The Rider? That one really worked on me.

I don’t know how much I ultimately enjoyed this movie, but my guy is out here making 160 million dollar art films, and I can’t wait to see how long he gets away with it.

People would need to remember that the film Max Payne exists, so this scenario seems unlikely.

Only Murders in the Building, Season 1 - a very charming, fun show. Steve Martin and Martin Short are obviously great together, but it’s the casting of Selena Gomez as the third member of the trio that weirdly makes the whole show work.

Yeah, he rules, but I can understand why it doesn’t work for some people. It’s… anachronistic. There was some “snub” talk about him not getting nominated for The Way Back last year (good movie and good performance) but I would love to see him get recognition for this one instead. Although a lot of the awards season movies still haven’t come out yet, so I don’t know who else would be in the category.

Ben Affleck is clearly having a blast, mostly because he’s in a completely different movie. Damon and Driver are all brooding and plotting, and Affleck is just living his best life: getting drunk and having orgies.

I do most things alone. Movies, theater, concerts (although I’m not much of a concert guy). The one that still makes me feel a little awkward is eating in restaurants alone.

Just finished Mass Effect 2:LE. Had a great time revisiting that game. Now I think I’m going to bounce back to the other series I started this summer and dive into the Final Fantasy 2 pixel remaster.

Still can't believe that's Collin Farrell as the Penguin. Wild.

He's done enough in the last few years to make me a fan. Good Time, The Lighthouse, and Tenet alone are enough to erase his Twilight era for me.

Mass Effect 2 (LE)- I’ve been slowly making my way through this over the course of a month or more. I have the full crew and all but one or two are loyal. I don’t remember how much there is to do after that. Also seeing a lot of this DLC for the first time. I think the only one I bought back in the day was Lair of the Shadow Broker. Back 4 Blood - Seems good/fine. Glad it’s on Game Pass, because I probably won’t get a ton out of it.

I’ve played a few levels single player. It feels a lot like Left 4 Dead at first, but I just hit the point where it throws a bunch of unlocks and progression systems at you. Seems good. Makes me wish I was a more social gamer.

I just walk/hike a bunch. I barely liked organized sports as a kid, and I can't think of any I would enjoy now. Well, if my wrists/forearms weren't ruined, I would love to join a bowling team. I did always like bowling, and I bet it's even more fun with beer.
