I don’t think obesity in America can be fixed at this point. If good health isn’t enough of an excuse, then can anything make someone change their diet? We are surrounded by easy access food that is just carbs, sodium, and fat. For some people it starts when they are toddlers. My wife used to work at a fancy pre school for many years (they also had all day kindergarten there). You should have seen what half of the 4-5 year old kids were packing for lunch- I should say parents were packing their kids for lunch. A normal lunch for some was: salty chips/crackers, a hot dog, animal cookies, fruit snacks, and a juice box. Everyday. All these habits stick with a kid and they go on to be 200-250lbs in high school. And by the time they are 30-40 years old with kids they are 250-300lbs+.

I have no idea what this is. Saw the comment’s mentioned some other video that was 8 or 9 years old and still never heard of it.

Blade 2 is probably my favorite. It was more of a time and a place situation for me. Saw it in theaters at around 15 years old so it just felt cooler than it may have been.

My workout routine has been so sporadic the last 2 years it’s basicallly whenever life allows. But I will say, even as a teenager, I always had my best workouts at night. Even now I can get a shower at like 9pm, I’ll suddenly get an urge to go work out. Which is annoying because then I’ll want another shower. I just feel more focused at that time for some reason.

I wouldn’t touch one unless it was some extremely low price. Partly because of the stress it was put under. The other part because I wouldn’t want to give another cent to a crypto miner. They caused a shortage of cards for the average person and then the chip shortage happened on top of it. Not a fan.

Just a simple trip to the emergency room is a guaranteed $1,500 bill for me and I have decent insurance. A year or two ago I had this random stabbing chest pain pop up around 9pm. It hurt like hell but something told me it probably wasn’t my heart. Every breath was stabbing. Got no sleep, went to dr in the morning but since they couldn’t rule out a blood clot, off to the ER I had to go. I was there less than an hour. Blood pressure fine, ekg fine, blood test for blood clot came back fine. They did nothing else. $1,620 bill a month later. Oh and the stabbing pain was gone a day later. Health care is fucking bullshit here.

I miss using the back button attachment on my ps4 controller. I got pretty good with it using it for jumping/sliding while shooting in shooters. Not sure I want to invest in a whole new controller though (i JUST finally bought another Dualsense controller last week).

With the topic at hand, I assumed the story was going to be “lady fell into shallow river and hit her head on a rock”. Whoops.

I think my son brought it home from school so the mask probably wouldn’t have helped. But yeah anything to just not get it would be best. The potential of long term consequences scares the hell out of me, but I really think everyone is destined to get Covid at this point. My taste and smell went away a few days after testing positive. It’s only been 11 days but it fucking sucks not to be able to smell and taste. The other day I sat right next to a burning candle. One of those crackling wood wick candles that smells up the whole room with whatever scent it is. I couldn’t smell it at all. That’s been the scariest part for me so far. Fear of spoiled or rotten food. If my kids would leave something in a toaster or stove would I smell anything burning?

Sounds like I’m going to avoid this new trailer then.

@SaysWho?Do you still have any symptoms? It’s so weird how it messes with everyone differently. I have this annoying headache that comes and goes. Kind of creeps up the back of my head. I rarely ever get headaches so I notice this one. Cough is almost totally gone along with mucus. I think because of the occasional headache and not being able to smell/taste it was really messing with me mentally. Head just feels out of it sometimes. Have to keep reminding myself it’s only been 8 days since first testing positive. It’s normal right? I’m a worrier haha.

Saw it was free on PlayStation and was going to skip it due to no voices. Pretty cool they fixed that though. Feel bad for the people that purchased the game before hand. Buy a game with no voice acting, then right when they update it, it’s a free PS+ game.

I’m about an hour into Gerstmann’s podcast. It’s only the 1st episode but I don’t think I can listen to him alone for 2-3 hours.

It’s either Hulu or peacock where I have this problem. I open the app and it shows me a “continue watching” section. The show I want is right there but I want to watch a different episode. But if I click on the show it just starts playing that episode with no option to do anything else. And the show magically doesn’t show up in any of the other lists suddenly. So I end up having to go back to the search bar and type in the show. I kind of like the simplicity of HBO Max. I feel like the algorithm doesnt get in my way. Like it’s too dumb to recommend me something. Its just good at showing me the latest releases.

I’ll be interested to hear his show. If it’s just him by himself I’m not sure I’ll care as much in the long run. I usually enjoy what he has to say, but maybe not as a one man show.
