Balls are annoying. I just went to the Dr. Friday morning because Thursday night I felt a weird lump down there in the shower. After the Dr manhandled my balls he thinks it's something called epididymis. They are scheduling an ultrasound to take a look sometime in the next week or so to make sure. It's probably fine...

Movies Top Gun: Maverick | 96% Rotten Tomatoes
DarkStar189 replied to CitizenVectron's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
My son keeps asking when this movie comes out because he wants to watch it at home. I hadn't checked on its status lately but I figured it was still making money in theater. Crazy. -
First time in my memory I’ve had conjunctivitis…
DarkStar189 replied to gamer.tv's topic in The Shower
Only ever happened to me once with a really bad sinus infection. Had some gooey puss stuff coming out of my tear duct. Looked ridiculous too. Had to put some Vaseline like medication across my inner eye lid and just leave it there for days. -

I'd definitely watch it. Feel like it's been awhile since I've seen Justin Long in anything.- 1 reply

General Gaming Great single player games with very little narrative

That's a shame to hear. I'll probably dig in more tonight. -
General Gaming Great single player games with very little narrative

I've felt the same about a lot of games lately. Just feels like a big commitment to start something new because everything wants to be a 40 hour adventure. I'm less than an hour into Devil May Cry 5 for PS5 and I gotta say, it feels pretty refreshing. There are cutscenese but they are fun. I don't really know what's going on but it's been a blast so far. Check out this cutscene if you want to get a feel for the game. It picks up about 2 minutes in. When the van is rolling and the lady catches the cigarette in her mouth in slow motion I knew I found the right game. -
Hopefully they will do something like this. Most of the time they are happy to just trap you in a monthly payment program. Never dealt with medical debt that big though. I hear how common it is to get stuck with huge medical debt so I'm sure it will still be an outrageous amount. "Here we'll give you a deal....$30k instead of $49k."

Television Better Call Saul - The Final & 6th Season
DarkStar189 replied to SoberChef's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Finally caught up on the new season. I hadn't realized there were going to be 13 episodes total so for the past day or two I thought there was only one episode left. With the ending of the previous episode, I felt like they wrapped up a lot. I wonder what the final few episodes will be about. Maybe meeting Walt and where Jimmy is currently? -

General Entertainment Netflix loses 970k subscribers.
DarkStar189 replied to CastletonSnob's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Most of their newer content doesn't appeal to me in any way. The only series I've watched in the last 6 months that I can remember is Stranger Things. If it wasn't for my kids using the service everyday I would have dumped it by now. -
General Gaming Slots on Twitch: the dirty truth
DarkStar189 replied to Brian's topic in The Spawn Point
I skimmed most of the article, started zoning out when it was mentioning all these streamers and companies. Streamers acknowledge kids as young as 11 are "spending their parents money" on their streams and gambling online using vpn's. That's pretty bad. As usual it falls back on the parents. The best you can do is try to stay on top of this shit and expose the con to your kids as young as possible. I imagine some kids are also growing up with a very skewed view of money. Spend all day watching streamers who work with huge sums of money, passing it around and spending it like it's nothing. Also feels like a whole generation of people are being raised to pump money into pointless digital items. Starts small and feels normal with loot boxes. Over time that same idea graduates to online gambling and sports betting. Slippery slope. -
Movies Halloween Ends (Trailer) October 14, 2022

If I remember correctly, the 2nd movie starts off right where the first movie ended. When all 3 come out they need to just splice them all together in one long cut. -

I thought the scene with the firemen and the scene where was good fun. But now that you mention it, stretching another 90 minutes out of a 3rd movie will be interesting to see. -

Confirmed: Rob Zombie’s ‘The Munsters’ Premiering on Netflix This September! BLOODY-DISGUSTING.COM Rob Zombie himself confirmed THE MUNSTERS news on IG, telling fans that they can head back to Mockingbird Lane this coming September. I thought that trailer looked realllllllll bad. One or two quick scenes Herman reminded me of Jim Carrey playing The Mask.

I love naps, usually on the couch, whenever possible. But with 2 kids in the house, naps are pretty much non existent.
