With one of only two winning bets on the Feature Game this week and nailing every game in the Question 5 pick 'em, Jose blasts his way out of the basement to take control of the leader board!  With a quarter of the season in the books, his stunning turnaround is proof that nobody at the bottom is out of it and nobody at the top is safe!

 

########## WEEK 4 RESULTS ##########

Week 4 Feature Game: Dallas Cowboys (-2.5) at New Orleans Saints
The Saints brought Dallas fans back down to earth, handing them their first loss by a score of 12-7.5(10-2.5).  Only Jose and Slug bet the Feature Game correctly.

 

QUESTIONS

1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Cowboys TD, Cowboys FG, Cowboys safety, Saints TD, Saints FG, Saints safety, or other? ($600 for the correct call)
The first score of what turned out to be a mostly field goal fest was a Cowboys 28 yarder in the first quarter.

 

2) Which team in the Feature Game will give up the most turnovers? ($500 for the correct call) 
The Saints dropped the ball for a turnover on their first drive, but the Cowboys put the ball on the ground twice and Prescott threw a pick late for a total of 3 turnovers to New Orleans' 1.

 

3) Air Inferiority - Name the QB that will throw the most interceptions in Week 4 ($800 for the right name)
Josh Allen, Jared Goff and Dwayne Haskins (grumble) threw the most picks in week 4 with 3 a piece.  Any of these names get the cash. Biggie was the only player to call one of these names.

 

4) How many total points will be scored in the Seattle at Arizona game?   0-10, 11-24, 25-36, 37-45, 46-53, or 54+? ($600 for the correct guess) 
Seattle handily won this one by a score of 27-10.  Calls on 37-45 get it.

 

5) Call the winners:
Jacksonville at Denver
Washington at NY Giants
Cincinati at Pittsburgh
($500 for EACH correct named game winner, $900 bonus if you call all 3 correctly) 
Several players got a couple of these but 3 players (Dodger, Jose and Keyser_Soze) nailed all three to earn the bonus!

 

6) Sunday Driving: Which team will have the most time of posession in Week 4? ($800 for the correct team)
Did it feel like Jacksonville always had the ball?  Maybe that's because they were less than 6 minutes away from having 3 full quarters of offense on the field, with a total ToP of 39:12 in week 4.  Nobody called the Jags.

 

7) ROOOOOOAD TRIP! How many visiting teams will win in Week 4? ($800 for a correct guess)
Good week for the visitors!  11 road wins were tallied in week 4.  Nobody got this.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week four. ($1,900 for each player named correctly, $3,500 bonus if both names are called)
Leonard Fournette ran all over Denver for a ridiculous 225 rushing yards and Davonte Adams led all receivers with 180 yards worth of catches. BasemntDweller2 DID call Adams! Nobody called both for the bonus.

(Remember you are betting against the spread, not just the outright winner)

2) Which team in the Feature Game will have the most total combined rushing yards? ($500 for the correct call)

 

3) Name the QB that will be sacked the most in Week 5. ($800 for the right name)

 

4) Who will score the first touchdown (as always, the guy standing in the end-zone) in the Jacksonville @ Carolina game? ($700 for the correct guess)

 

5) Call the winners:
Buffalo at Tennessee
Chicago at Oakland
Cleveland at San Francisco
($500 for EACH correct named game winner, $1,000 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

 

6) Name the highest scoring team in Week 5. ($800 for the correct team)

 

7) Name the lowest scoring team in Week 5. ($800 for a correct guess)

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week five. ($2,500 for each player named correctly, $4,000 bonus if both names are called)
