AbsolutSurgen surges back to retake his lead by the slimmest of margins!  Can he hold on with most of the leaderboard breathing down his neck?  Let's find out!

 

########## WEEK 3 RESULTS ##########

 

Week 3 Feature Game: Chicago Bears (-4.5) at Washington Redskins
The Bears beat the Redskins by a score of 26.5(31-4.5) to 15, covering the points as easily as they covered Keenum's jersey in grass stains.

 

QUESTIONS

1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Bears TD, Bears FG, Bears safety, Redskins TD, Redskins FG, Redskins safety, or other? ($500 for the correct call)
Ha-HA! Bears TD is the call as Clinton-Dix picks off Case Keenum for the first of his 5 turnovers of the night. :|  Biggie, Greatoneshere, and Jose were the only 3 players guess this one.

 

2) Over or under?  42 combined points in the Feature Game. ($500 for the correct call)
With a combined 46 points belonging mostly to the efforts of the Bears defense, the over gets it.  Shockingly nobody called the over on this one!

 

3) Air Force - Name the QB that will throw for the most yards in Week 3 ($700 for the right name)
Russell Wilson hangs 406 yards on the Saints D in a losing effort to take the passing crown for the week. Nobody called Wilson airing it out this week.

 

4) Flags everywhere - What team will be penalized the most, in terms of number of penalties, in Week 3?  ($700 for the correct team)
The Falcons got flagged a ridiculous 16 times on Sunday, which is only 6 flags off the record for a single game. Only Greatoneshere predicted Atlanta's lack of discipline.

 

5) Call the winners:
Carolina at Arizona
Houston at LA Chargers
Baltimore at Kansas City
($400 for EACH correct named game winner, $800 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
KC was the only home team to hold down the fort this week.  No bonus awarded as only 3 players (Keyser_Soze, RedSoxFan9, and SFLUFAN) called Houston's win.

 

6) 10 teams have no wins through two weeks.  Name a team that gets their first win in Week 3. ($600 for a correct guess)

The Jaguars, Giants, and Panthers all got their first dubs of the season in Week 3.  

 

7) 10 teams have no losses through two weeks.  Name a team that suffers their first defeat in Week 3. ($600 for a correct guess)

The Ravens got a lot of players a free $600. :P 

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week three. ($1,700 for each player named correctly, $3,200 bonus if both names are called)

Christian McCaffery rushed for 153 to lead the ground game in Week 3 while Mike Evans hauled in 190 to lead all receivers.  Nobody called either player.

2) Which team in the Feature Game will give up the most turnovers? ($500 for the correct call)

 

3) Air Inferiority - Name the QB that will throw the most interceptions in Week 4 ($800 for the right name)

 

4) How many total points will be scored in the Seattle at Arizona game?   0-10, 11-24, 25-36, 37-45, 46-53, or 54+? ($600 for the correct guess)

 

5) Call the winners:
Jacksonville at Denver
Washington at NY Giants
Cincinati at Pittsburgh
($500 for EACH correct named game winner, $900 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)

 

6) Sunday Driving: Which team will have the most time of posession in Week 4? ($800 for the correct team)

 

7) ROOOOOOAD TRIP! How many visiting teams will win in Week 4? ($800 for a correct guess)

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week four. ($1,900 for each player named correctly, $3,500 bonus if both names are called)
