I'm sad

If you want to make an easy lasagna, use wonton wraps instead of lasagna noodles as your pasta. You don't have to soak them or anything, just layer them. Most grocery stores have wonton wraps, they're just hard to find. They'll have like only one pack and it's by the cream cheese and yogurt, I'm assuming because cream cheese wontons are bomb and the wraps have to stay refrigerated.

Buy some tomato sauce if you don't want to make your own, buy some ricotta, either sautee vegetables or meat (or both or neither, it's your world, I'm just living in it), remember to season with salt and pepper, layer to your heart's desire, top with a layer of cheese of your choice (if you want to be real nasty, put a layer of Kraft Singles on the top, it's actually delicious), and bake it in the oven until it looks like it's safe to eat.

Boom, lasagna. Pasta casserole.

Speaking of topping with american cheese, you can actually substitute the ricotta for like a thousand island kind of thing, with maybe some pickles or relish, and basically make a cheeseburger casserole. Same steps. It sounds disgusting, and it is, but only visually. And philosophically. And medically. You will eat the whole thing.

Don't knock it till you try it.

Edit: im assuming you're talking about the cheeseburger casserole part. I understand there are many questionable things with my post.

Using wonton wrappers as lasagna noodles absolutely works, though. Especially if you're cooking for vegans as wonton wraps are usually just flour and water

Just buy oven ready lasagna sheets. No need to boil them. Easier and tastier than shitty wonton wraps.

That's racist.

Also there is no difference in flavor. Whenever people try to get uppity about noodles, I'm like bitch it's starch and liquid. As long as you're cooking it to al dente, who the fuck cares what's in it. I've made chow mein with spaghetti before, it was delicious. I've made udon mac-and-cheese. The last time I made potstickers I used leftover semolina dough, they were the best potstickers I've ever had. You're mixing starch and water into a dough, do whatever you want. It's not rocket surgery.
