  1. There’s a decent amount of stuff to do around the Manor and Mt. Gelmir, but yeah, it isn’t as densely packed as some of the earlier areas.
  2. I'm pretty sure we had a Peaky Blinders thread in the Before Times. I watched and enjoyed the first season back when it first hit Netflix, but never kept up with it (honestly thought it ended years ago). It's on my to-watch list, along with roughly 10,000 other shows.
  3. My mimic tear does a good job of pulling focus long enough for me to take out one of his buddies, occasionally both, but then it's me and him one on one. From there, it shouldn't be a hard fight, but I get too impatient and get caught in his AOE attacks.
  4. It gets really stupid (in a great way). One of the Evergaols (another brilliantly stupid name) holds Godefroy the Grafted. Oh don't worry, it's not just Godrick the Grafted again. This time we fell asleep on the keyboard while naming him.
  5. They backed off their planned "Popular Oscar" from a few years ago after the immediate (and obvious) backlash. So now their solution is to just let Twitter decide? Of course that's gonna be trolled, especially if they allow for any movie to be nominated. And then if the idea is to integrate these popular movies into the show to boost viewers, why is it just a 60 second clip reel of the top 5? That's not doing anything for anyone, except now Army of the Dead has exactly one award win listed on IMDB. Good job everyone. It's like announcing that you've got DJ Khaled, and all he does is interrupt the start of show to hype up the hosts as he walks across the stage. Is that really bringing anyone to this shitshow? To introduce the (actually pretty good) James Bond tribute, we've got... all your favorite X-Games stars from 20 years ago? Sure, Bond has skied a time or two, so I guess that fits. Hype up the "first ever live performance" of We Don't Talk About Bruno, and it gets steamrolled by a guest verse from Meghan Thee Stallion about being at the Oscars? Way to give the people what they want. Utterly bizarre.
  6. I think that's Commander O'Neil, the guy in the Caelid swamp area. I'm talking about the boss of Castle Sol. It's not a super complicated fight, but so many of his attacks have a wide AOE that catch me any time I'm too impatient (which is always).
  7. I probably just need to approach the fight differently somehow, because I haven’t seen it come up as a notably tough boss fight, but Commander Niall and his ghost boys are really fucking me up.
  8. Nah, I think that vote was locked in before that. Beloved figure, second woman ever to be nominated for Best Director, makes her first movie in 12 years, it’s her triumphant return, etc. I don’t think it was ever going to be anyone else.
  9. On the actual awards: it’s kinda fascinating that PotD only won for Director. I may have missed something trying to do my own research, but the last time that happened was in 1956 (Giant).
  10. And CODA coming through with the upset! I've had fun following that narrative through this stupidly long awards season.
  11. If Rock had moved on quickly, it might not have happened, but he really highlighted it with a long pause and the "u mad bro?" stance.
  12. All this fretting about how to make the Oscars relevant again… that’s one way to do it.
  13. Rock was thrown off in a way that made it seem real. Insane.
  14. And a Johnny Depp movie nobody has ever heard of made the list because Twitter was a mistake.
  15. Troy Kotsur signing his acceptance speech while the grandma from Minari holds his trophy is a peak Oscars moment.
  16. DeBose for supporting actress and Dune sweeping technicals so far, everything going according to plan.
  17. I’m fully caught up now, including episode 7 that just dropped tonight. There’s a ton to say about this show, but I’ll leave most of that to people smarter and more articulate than me. I’ll just say: SEVERENCE GOOD! This show is so funny to me because it’s only slightly exaggerated from how I imagine giant corporations actually operate.
  18. Interesting. If they make sequels to this, I would like to see them keep Joker in this zone - not a primary antagonist.
  19. The paths from the Sites of Grace are also kind of confusing because sometimes they're clearly pointing you towards the critical path (Stormveil, Lucaria, etc.), but other times it seems to be the optional stuff that they just really want you to see. Like Morne Castle on the Weeping Peninsula is optional, but a good place to focus on in the early game. Or in Caelid, they pointed me to/through Selia, which was cool, but also optional.
  20. I just used this to make the Margott fight really simple. Went aggressive with my sword and spirit summon at the start, switched to the dagger and applied the rot just before he hit his second phase, that took his health down to just a sliver, so I only needed to him once with my sword to finish it.
