During that trailer I was almost certain the game was kojima’s next title. So I was a bit surprised to see it wasn’t.

Yup, certainly had Some of the aesthetic of Death stranding, and certainly some cryptic wackiness, so I thought the same.

I'm curious about it but no gameplay in a video game trailer is always baffling to me.

Kinda adds to the idea FFXVI is coming this year. It looked pretty far along, and was expected to release long before Athia.

Deep Down was well established vaporware by this point in the gen.
 

I think it’ll come out eventually.  This is the closest to an actual game it’s looked.

Yeah there is something resembling gameplay in there. I'm much more interested than I previously was, which was just a cool trailer before.

Capcom is on a roll so I trust them a lot more than I do Square when they showed off Forspoken.

Yeah it’s weird as switching from an original 22 (why did they even set this tho) release date to indefinite normally sounds like a death kneel but unlike when this usually happens, if coincided with new footage and the first look at real gameplay. I’m going to give benefit of the doubt to the company that released two 90+ meta games so far this year that they just don’t know if it will be 24-26 yet.
