Same, I’m on PS5 and I’ve had zero issues whatsoever outside of the occasional rag doll silliness.

I'm playing the PS4 version on PS5 and it very rarely drops below a seemingly solid 60fps and the only actual bug I've experienced so far was my damn currency drop not showing despite the map showing the location as well. This game has actually performed shockingly well for a From title for me. Then again it's absurd I had to play the PS4 version on PS5 to achieve that.

Edit: Actually, a boss pushed me into geometry that I got stuck in and subsequently died in. Nice....

Even on ps5 I have had barely any slowdown since a patch one evening a few nights after launch.

But I do know PC has been a different experience for people as well.

I haven’t tried it myself but apparently a nvidia driver update fixed FF7R stutter, I wonder if they can do the same here. Not sure what they did exactly, but if it’s possible they could take care of it on their end, I could see them wanting to. They can not be looking forward to the flood of complaints next driver update when everyone says their ER performance tanked after updating their drivers not knowing it’s because it has to recompile the shaders all over again and that it never actually improved.

Ok i am feeling generous. Who wants a PC copy of Elden Ring? Game is too good to not share.

I would love a pc copy for when my steam deck arrives but I think it'd be more meaningful to give it to somebody who doesnt own it on another platform.

Thats very kind of you

Honestly, anyone who has less than 100 hours in this game who has claimed to have beaten it, either hasn't properly explored or absolutely used a guide, cheating themselves out of an amazing experience.

I saw someone on Twitter say they finished the game at Lvl 163, got 1000/1000 Xbox Achievements, in 66 hours, without using any of those crazy Soul farming areas, and didn't use a Guide until he finished the full game and just used it to get the few things he missed.

I'm like 130 hours in I think and Lvl 135.  I don't think it's possible to get 163 in 66 hours without some crazy Soul farming areas for a decent amount of time.

I've had ONE crash in over 60 hours of play and no other serious bugs. Nothing  Playing on the series X.

I'm on PC and it's never crashed on me. I think there is server lag where the game freezes up for a bit, but never a crash.

Also, I think that thing he described about the Dragon isn't a bug, it's just the enemy going outside the boundaries of where he's supposed to fight so the game resets the position. I mean the the HP stays the same, so it's not too big of a deal to me.

Yeah, I actually don't believe anyone did this in 66 hours blind on first playthrough. He figured out multiple endings with no guide, including a missable trophy, and tons of other stuff. I'd say thats pure BS.

I’m like 95 hours in at I think level 78 mostly blind with like 150/1000 gamer score on it. One of my small complaints is that this game has all these bosses, and a good chunk give you fuck all for runes. Like hey you beat a boss enjoy your 1700 runes. There are a bunch of videos showing farm spots so yeah I assume he watched some then lied about it.

Red Wolf down... definitely overleveled for this area. Oh well. I'm seriously thinking about tripple dipping this game... buying it for the PS5 so I can play with my nephew and getting it for PC so I can play with the PC crowd.

I might get it on PS5 to get all the trophies once I have all the achievements. Game is just that damn good.

I think I’ve hit a point where I need to take a break from this game. I’m dying to shit that really shouldn’t get me. I’m getting way too frustrated at small stuff. The open nature of this world has helped mitigate that frustration up to this point, but now everywhere I turn I’m running into something new that bothers me.

I felt that way too but each day I discovered something or accomplished something. I took Sunday and Monday off and probably today as well. Then it's back at it!

I decided to backtrack a bit and visit some places I avoided early on. Like that carriage that is being pulled by the giants. I actually followed it to the end of the trail and it just stops at the ruins you get to early on in the game.

Then I went back to the forest where that @stepee is clawing a tree (Actually I went there via: that patches trap ) Actually you have to fight like 3 in a row. That's some shit. There is like a graveyard over near there with one of those poison flowers that I probably wouldn't have found otherwise though.

Now I'm going through Stormveil since I skipped it. This place is dense AF.

Well Deserved.

So, I found out why you lose a percentage of runes in Stormveil castle (when you pick up your runes, about 30% are gone) when you die, but nowhere else.

When you die, the gatekeeper steals runes on you. Apparently if you kill him, this stops. But a lot of reddit believes he has an unknown purpose, so most people aren't killing him. Just thought it was interesting.

Take  a break.  This is usually my pattern with these From games too but not this one for some reason.  I totally get it though.

I can't picture that either. At all.

Yeah, I’m going to play something else for a while (probably GotG thanks to Game Pass) until I really get the itch to come back to the Lands Between, which probably won’t be long.

Yeah I already have 40 vigor, I've watched fightincowboys build video's and he's verified the soft caps are 40/60 so I'll push onto 60 later. I'm not the greatest at these games so I always build my foundation first and pump my HP up before worrying about my damage stats. If you're running around late game stuff with 25 vigor and getting clobbered it's time to invest in vigor.

At the end of your spoiler, that’s the recommended amount of HP to get to for the end game?

I was running like 900-1000 HP at 30 Vigor for a lot of these later game areas, and just about every enemy was 2 shotting me, with bosses having like 80% of their move set 1 shotting me.

I'm at 35 vigor now at around 1200ish I think and it's helping,  I'll prob pump it up to 40.  Boss fights were still doable, but you basically need to be damn near perfect on dodges and blocks, and heal immediately after each tick of any damage as you are guaranteed to be die at 2 shots by just about everything.

I have 60 vigor and I can get two shot from some elite mobs, as in stronger than normal but can still respawn. Vigor is by far the best stat and also the most useless. Cuz the number doesn't mean shit. I got hit by a field boss that would take 95% of my health bar with one move. If I wasn't at full health or I didn't get out of the blast radius I was dead. The majority of the game you are basically just going through the game with 2 hit points. You can get hit once, but never twice. Sometimes that will change to 3, but 2 seems to be the most common. And your flask basically just restores 1 hit point. Usually, it is mandatory bosses that let you have 3 hit points.
