He tested positive TEN days ago. Testing isn't perfect so he should be waiting out the whole 14 days since he had close contact with other known covid positive contacts anyway!

If he tested positive 10-days ago, it leads to the question “when did he stop displaying symptoms?”, as, you are generally contagious for 10 additional days after symptoms stop.

To answer your “not really asking a question” question, it’s because the alternative (no Democrats there) leads to only GOP asking questions. They are taking the risk because they feel as though they have to.

I don't totally disagree with this. I just don't see it as being effective, but would love to be wrong.
