If he tested positive 10-days ago, it leads to the question “when did he stop displaying symptoms?”, as, you are generally contagious for 10 additional days after symptoms stop. To answer your “not really asking a question” question, it’s because the alternative (no Democrats there) leads to only GOP asking questions.
