Well this should be interesting to find out what exactly happened to cause a mass exodus of their workers. I wonder if Wade is right about AI being a possibility, and maybe what they were thinking of making was clickbait articles written by AI bots to drive up traffic.

   Should've take the severance and pooled that instead of starting a patreon / go-fund-me 24 hours later. I know it's the principle here and not the money but it's not like their spilling anything Juicy! asking for funds for whatever they decide to work on next is ballsy at the least. I do like that they all weren't cash poor as to be able to even walk away like that after there coliques were fired, respect that for sure. I was pretty much trapped'sh in a job for a very long time because the money was good but it was miserable and I have respect for people that can walk away and pursue a different path when the situation isn't idea and it wears on you mental state!! I only stayed because of my 5 kids. Really scary world out there when you have that many mouths to feed! I really wish now I had done something else, something I actually liked to do other than run a newspaper / phonebook / magazine printing crew for over 22 years!

I believe the severance came with a none compete. Also only the 1 guy would have gotten severance. The rest quit.

yeah, but they already have a fan base. Especially Yahtzee. It will take a bit of time, but they can start crawl back the numbers they once had. Some may stop seeing Escapist videos recommended in their feed and immediately start seeing Second Wind videos. This has happened to me with a couple channels where there was a split.
