He can tell when someone approaches the front when he's in the back. He even knows when our car is down the street/we are almost home when we are like 6 houses away. I would have been shot so many times as a teen. I can't count the number of times I've accidently opened the wrong car door or even accidently gotten half way into the wrong car. It always ended with an embarrassed apology and laughter if there was anyone in the car. This one is even more infuriating, though. He didn't fear for his life.
