Best
I'm making great progress in Cyberpunk and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. After I beat that, I'm moving on to HBW which should take 40+ hours to beat. Then what!? Could you guys list the games you're looking forward to this year or have been playing?
Biggie
Playing thru TLoU2 and it’s amazing. 1 1
crispy4000
Xenoblade 3 is the next big game I’m prepping for. Going in almost completely dark, which is why I haven’t been bumping its thread with updates. Favorite game I’ve beaten so far this year is Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair. It’s as good at being a Nintendo game as they come, but isn’t limited to their hardware. 1

HardAct
Dying Light 2: Stay Human? I'm looking forwards to 2 Nintendo games, XC3 & Mario Strikers also!
Spork3245
I started Dragon Quest 11 on GamePass. It’s good if you like old-school JRPGs

I'm just not into that genre much but the praise it got I guess I should check it out. I also forgot I own FC6 but I'm kinda tired of their formula. So there is 2 potential games to play. Fizzzzle
I'm trying to go through JRPGs that I haven't played in historical order. Only the good ones, though. I'm on Master System /NES games right now. I don't really recommend it. JRPGs kind of sucked until like FFIV, and even a few after that kind of sucked. I've just been in a very obsessive mood recently. How much I love that game is directly proportional to how much I hated Elly as a person (but not as a game character). By the end, I liked Abby far more. TheLeon
I’m not really paying attention to upcoming releases at all. When I’m done with Cyberpunk, I’ve got all kinds of things in the ol’ backlog I’ve been meaning to get into, including but not limited to: Guardians of the Galaxy and the Hitman Trilogy on Xbox/Game Pass -Triangle Strategy, SMTV and Monster Hunter Rise (get ready for the expansion) on Switch -Inscryption and Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters on PC.

I love Mario games but the art style in Psychonauts 2 looks weird to me. Like not too appealing. It must be a tremendous game so maybe I should force myself to play it. Is platforming the main game mechanic in the game? Any other gameplay elements to it? Story and characters cool?

It’s a good looking game for one thing. You liked MGS5 didn’t you? So it seems you must like stealth some. You go in and walk around and take in the sights while discovering the world a bit and seeing how you will go about killing your target and then execute it. The idea for a lot of people is to replay levels over and over since they can be done so many ways, and I think that’s why people say you won’t like it. I just played each level once for Hitman 1 and 2 and then stopped at 3 waiting for the ray tracing patch (just finally dropped!) since there is enough content now for it to still be a lengthy enough game that way.

Thank you for explaining. I do enjoy stealth games as I played basically all MGS games and Splinter Cell back in the day. I'll definitely keep this trilogy in mind! Started playing it when it was released and then take a year or so off and then start up again. I signed in last month after another year and realized that all but two of my 18 characters were level 50. Now, all my characters are level 50. I mentioned that to my long standing guild, and someone said I must have played every day since launch. I just shook my head because I was feeling like I had no idea how to play the game last month when I signed on for the first time in a long time.

What is “HBW?” I don’t think the games I’m playing are up your alley, but I know several of my buddies are looking forward to Monster Hunter: Rise - Sunbreak and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. And one of them just restarted Elden Ring with a different character build/class. So there is always that option.

I put 80 hours into Elden Ring so I'm taking a big break from that. However, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has my interest so I'll keep an eye out for that when it releases next month. Thank you for the reply.

If this is your first Xenoblade, start with the remake of 1 on Switch. It's fantastic, plus there's things in 2 (and presumably 3) that you'll get more out of if you do.
