I actually have this on my wishlist on Steam. I have to pick it up after getting way into Quake again.

If they basically throw in the sequel's combat system and expand the level design accordingly, I'm all in. And it says remake, not remaster. I can't imagine ND being dumb enough to put resources into, what, re-remastering the original? I think they'll at least update the combat to TLOU2 standards of sorts.

Have yet to watch this season but the main question is...how much is Leon in this? Leon vs. Larry has been some of my favorite shit ever in this show and the last season had some true gems.

I think it looks fantastic on PS5 right now. Granted, I've never played anything at 120fps I think but really, it looks great as is right now and the DualSense controls are ace.

One of the few shows that, in my opinion at least, keeps getting better and better. It gets more and more absurd and surreal in the last few seasons and it's great.

I mean I made a thread about it but yeah... Hunt: Showdown I'm terrible at it and don't expect to be decent for a long time but after initially being totally turned off by its staggering learning curve, every tiny bit of new understanding feels like an achievement. Also along with Returnal, possibly one of the most atmospheric and immersive games I've played in a long time. The sound design is incredible.

I watched so many damn movies over the holiday break, I can't even remember them all. I spent New Year's Day binging Horror flicks on Shudder. One of the bigger disappointments was O Brother, Where Art Thou surprisingly. I tend to really love Coen Bros movies but this one didn't really do it for me at all. It had some cool scenes but overall it left me cold and something about Clooney's performance in this consistently annoyed me. Also watched the second Matrix movie for the first time and didn't like it at all either. I had just revisited the first one and liked that one even more than I remembered, great fucking movie.

It's pulpy garbage fine-tuned to perfection though, that's what makes it so damn good. First few seasons are so much fun.

I think it's only a must with friends if you're looking to go in with a steady team. I've been doing teams of three with random people and more often than not, after getting my footing just a bit at least, it works out. Also just figured out after making this post that the game has a very lively Discord with a PS4/PS5 specific 'Looking For Group' channel. Picked up a few people there earlier that I'll team up with later.

I picked it up for PS5 last week. I think it might still be on sale for $15, not sure by now? I mean it's the PS4 version but it does have a PS5 patch for 60 FPS

Any of you playing Hunt: Showdown on console by any chance? I'm looking to get some other players in for a team. I just got it on sale I think...last week? It's been really difficult, at best, to even manage to survive a match and learn the world itself but despite my initial utter frustration, this game is something really unique and insanely addicting. It's probably the hardest and most unforgiving game I've ever played and I can barely land shots, let alone kills, on other players still but good god, the atmosphere, setting and gameplay loop is something else.
