General Gaming What are you playing today?
Bloodporne replied to CastlevaniaNut18's topic in The Spawn Point
Hunt: Showdown Or well, I tried. Bought it on sale since I always wanted to give online shooters another shot. I just...don't get it at all and realized there's a reason I don't play games like this for the millionth time. The matchmaking wait times, the fact playing solo is basically impossible, me having zero clue how actual hunts are supposed to play out despite doing hours of training missions. After a few hours of aimlessly running around the gigantic map getting headshotted randomly I remembered why I simply don't have the time for shit like this. Edit: I wanna give this another shot. Ill make a thread see if anyone else is playing this on here -

Yea sort of. DS has been on the backburner while I'm hooked on TLOU2 but I'm still popping in. Very different but both have very satisfying mechanics and weighty movement and feel overall...I dunno I feel a very slight parallel there once in a while. I do think TLOU2 was inspired by MGSV though so that'd make some vague sense. -

Pretty far into TLOU2 on Grounded now. Game was fantastic before but it fully shines on Grounded. It's hard to play anything else. -
The Hateful Eight: Extended Cut - 9/10 I've seen it twice before and always liked it quite a bit but watching it last night with the wind whipping outside and all, this is a really great flick. Absolutely love what an evil piece of shit everyone is. Tricking Bruce Dern into that self defense shooting is so good every time.

Can't get tested in NY at all, shit is totally overloaded. I've had, what appears to be, a cold for a few days and needed to get tested for work but earliest tests are about a week out. As a result I had to take two sick days between yesterday and today instead of being able to work from home because then 'everyone will want to do that'.

Doesn't help that the trailer is like a greatest hits of every played out cliche and trope possible. I remember reading that originally this was supposed to be shot in black & white and be more of a brooding, psychological take while this trailer makes it look like a Game of Thrones episode. Wouldn't be the first time a trailer is the polar opposite of the actual film but as it stands my interest in this would be 0/10 if it didn't have Eggers' name on it.

Seven Psychopaths I'm a fan of In Bruges and missed this one when it came out so I figured I'd finally give it a shot. Maybe the ending ties it up but I didn't make it and turned it off about an hour and twenty minutes into it. The whole movie kind of felt like a lopsided, awkwardly paced hodgepodge of random edgy nonsense. The great cast seems to kind of just flail around in this film equivalent of listening to a Gen X dude on a coke binge. It's a problem when you manage to make Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken annoying and boring all at once. At Least Tom Waits Showed Up/10

You're living the Insidious plot right now, right down to the 'lol it's not happening, imma not tell my husband that I saw my dead mother while folding laundry this morning when he gets home from work lol' moment you're currently in.

I actually have quite the morbid middle name. I was named after my uncle who was kidnapped and disappeared a month before I was born. Great start...

That's kinda cool considering he's running a movie theater. Wish my ma would've named me Ozzy Osborne as my middle name anticipating my love of Black Sabbath
