I want both 2D Mario and 3D Mario releases at a more frequent rate. A 2D entry this year and a 3d entry next year would work for me. They have done two Mario games within a year before, it just seems weird since they combined their platforms. I don’t know what the proper rate for Mario games is, I’m thinking I’d like to see it alternate and every two years you get one of the forms of mainline Mario. Maybe that’s too much, idk, but I know the proper ratio is a lot more than we’ve been getting.

I’m going to try to walk more now that I don’t have to worry about pain affecting my sleep at night as much anymore but lately it’s been pretty bad from the miles I used to walk a day to maybe like 5 minutes of outside of the house walking. I tried to get myself to get one today since best buy has them in stock but I just couldn’t convince myself of any situation I’d use it in after the initial testing of it due to getting a laptop and ar glasses recently. There is still room for a better handheld in my setup that replaces the deck but this one doesn’t seem to be that, it’s going to be all about the display for me and while this would be an improvement there, it wouldn't match either the oled on x-real or the hdr micro led on my laptop so I determined I’d simply never opt to use it. Ideally I’m waiting for someone to come out with a pc handheld that has touchpads and design similar to Steam deck with a 7” 120hz hdr oled vrr display at any resolution 720p or above. That’s my dream device right now and I’ll need something that is at least close to even bother setting up my handheld environment with all the emulators and everything again.

I’m not and never have been a fan of the NSMB aesthetic style and the first three games are just okay (but they are still good platformers if not up to Mario standards) but I’d say U is a better platformer than DKCT and it’s biggest fault is simply that the other three games came out first. If it was only U+Luigi that ever released I think it would be considered simply one of the best 2D platformers, period. It’s a fantastic game. That said I don’t want U2 either because the style is worn. Apparently the new Sonic game uses the Mania physics in the 3D engine now. I’d like to see them get the Mario world physics in a game engine that could make 3D models that looked hand drawn like the characters in Guilty Gear Strive done up like the late 80s/early 90s art. Mario World physics but have it literally look exactly like Add a Mario World like map and bring the cape power up back and call it Super Mario Bros 5 and I’d probably cry

Yeah Square is the only one fully maximizing it these days with the full console exclusivity>non steam pc platform>steam release trifecta. I imagine once Mirage comes out I’ll just get a Ubi sub for a couple years until they slow down again so this won’t affect me.

The rumor is that they announce a new 2D Mario coming this year at this event. The rumor said there would be a new direct this week and also I believe they called the recent Sonic launch. 2023 going for official GOAT status?

There has to be some full awareness of this going on with this plea deal! I feel like for people on the right who treat politics as sport this is actually a bummer.

This rumor is for a 2DHD or whatever Square calls that style remake so it would be done in the style of Octopath Traveler. A full remake, but not on the scale of FF7R.

Those are the super arts moves. I would practice with Ryu just to get an idea since his are super easy. Just do the fireball motion but do it twice before you hit punch (quarter circle forward, quarter circle forward, punch)and you should do one if you have the bars.

I finally got in a few wins in last night after getting my ass handed the last few matches. I need to learn how to do the new special stuff proper like parring and dive moves, Im still playing it like Alpha series. I definitely have no chance atm against anyone who really knows how to play properly and chain efficient combos. I can just tell the type of fighter right away and if I have a shot or not. That Im playing any game online at all just shows how much I love this though. The single player has more budget and cinematic flair than I anticipated. It’s moving a bit more beyond just a NBA2K style story mode into some more fun SF lore type stuff. And I love how you fight multiple enemy’s at once and that it’s in Metro City so it ends up feeling like some sort of Final Fight/SF crossover which is exactly what this should be. They just gotta do a one off dlc that adds Cody/Haggar/Guile/Poison and also adds a side story where you can play as them in the world tour mode and fight classic Final Fight enemy’s. THEY GOTTA.

Part of the whole problem is that the mainstream popular right in America is tilted far to the right so much that our left politicians try to pander to an imaginary center that is somewhere in between absolute fucking bat shit insane and moderate right wing. That sucks they are having so many issues with the orders. I still haven’t received some kind of eta or anything for mine either, sounds like they might be a bit overwhelmed. It’s all I’ve personally tried so far and I think they are amazing. Make sure to update the firmware on it for both the glasses and the adapter when you get it. You just hook it to a pc and then go to XREAL Air - Firmware update OTA.XREAL.COM You do the MCU update then the DP update - then go to the page for the adapter - the packaging isn’t clear on this. You don’t get 3D without doing this first.
