No. 5-10 minutes, nothing more than that. Even then 10 minutes is way too long unless you have some wildly cold eggs. 5 minutes for soft boiled, 10 for a hard, and whatever for in between. Take the eggs out of your fridge and allow them to come up to room temp while you grab a pot and bring the water to a boil. Eggs aren't sweet potatoes where you toss them in the oven and have to wait until the following week to eat them.
