I don't think every entry was brought up, but several were.  Tactics was.

Do you think all of them deserve to be on a top 100 list?

At the very least, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 12. Square was on a helluva run for most of that time.

Maybe we should do 100 worst games and put Heavy Rain on it.

I actually do like Heavy Rain but I wouldn’t put it on a top 100. Now Beyond…

We should do a 100 worst games list though, but after this or I feel it’ll make both lists worse

I thought about this the other day. I think to make it fair we should limit it to games we've played, otherwise really easy to spout off just really bad games. I've played a solid handful of them though so I could make a pretty good contribution.

Superman 64 has to be top 5, right?

Top ten at least.

Oh yeah this is a good one that totally belongs and is often missed!

I'd want a top most offensively disappointing.  That'd lead to one heck of a spicy and salty thread.

Id take Superman 64 over Sword Of Sodan or Impossimole any day

Were those games eventually unplayable due to severe glitching/bugs like Superman? I remember shedding a small tear when I couldn't advance and I wasn't a kid lol.

We'll go with those then.  I don't remember if 4 and 12 were nominated, but the rest were.

Going to start pulling together the larger list now.

They were just so bad and unappealing in every manner. You could probably beat them in a more coherent way but you’d never want to. At least Superman has enough appeal you wish you could get further, you don’t want to see any more of these games.

Reminds me though to add to THIS list:

Castle of Illusion is definitely an all timer. I was able to trade Sword of Sodan in the next day after being so disappointed and having a horrible nightmare about it because it was also ridiculously violent for my age. Picked up Castle of Illusion instead and talk about trading in a lump of shit for solid gold

Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara to represent Capcom beat 'em ups. ;)

Out of this World / Another World

Half-Minute Hero

Yooka-Laylee & the Impossible Lair

Yoku's Island Express

Metroid Dread

Was Yooka-Laylee & the Impossible Lair a huge improvement over the original? I wasn't a fan of the original because of the bad controls.

Yes, absolutely.  It’s a 2D platformer with a Banjo-Kazooie and 2D Zelda inspired overworld.  Every stage has a B-side variant that changes it dramatically, in ways that don’t repeat themselves the entire game.  It controls well, I liked it better than DK Returns (haven’t played TF much yet).

It was my pick at the store :/ It looked cool on the box but I hated it, it was so ugly and controlled lethargically

I've unfortunately picked some stinkers on my my own as well. But that's how it was back then, no internet, you just had to go with the cool box.

The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle for the NES. Have no idea why I wanted it but it is abysmal.

As someone who loves DKC2 but isn’t huge on TF, I loved Yooka Laylee Impossible Lair as well! Very very good game. The overworld is perhaps the best period for an 2D platformer outside of my nostalgia for Super Mario World’s as there is actually more to do in it.
