Drama Series "The Last of Us" Lead Actor in a Drama Series Pedro Pascal ("The Last of Us") Lead Actress in a Drama Series Bella Ramsey ("The Last of Us") I remember reading that Last of Us only had a good story in the world of video games. Apparently, these stories can dominate the world of television.
Commissar SFLUFAN
No nomination for Diego Luna for Andor is a goddamned joke.
TheLeon
My bet is Succession is going to dominate most of the Drama awards, but their 3 lead actor noms might cancel each other out and enough people might Vote for Pedro. Offerman probably walks away with guest actor.
Commissar SFLUFAN
Obi-Wan Kenobi being nominated for Best Limited Series is utterly baffling to me and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit! 1
TheLeon
Love that Jury Duty got some nominations, including one for supporting actor James Marsden as Himself. Also happy to see Bad Sisters get some love. I thought it would’ve been in the limited series category, but I completely missed that it got renewed for a second season last year, so that’s cool. A little insane that with 8 slots for supporting actor (drama), only two shows are represented. Couldn’t let my guy Stellan Skarsgård in there to compete against his son? Brick
Did not know Ramsey was non-binary Emmy Awards criticised after nominating non-binary Bella Ramsey for Best Actress WWW.INDEPENDENT.CO.UK ‘The Last of Us’ star received their first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series
TheLeon
Actors pick what category to submit themselves under. So I guess you can blame the Emmys for still having acting awards split between male/female categories (like almost every major award still does) but they didn’t place Bella in that category. Fizzzzle
I do find it odd that award shows still restrict things based on gender. This isn't shotput. The only thing I can think of it that if women didn't have their own category then no woman would ever win
johnny
getting rid of the gender in these awards is dumb imo. it would just take chances at awards away from women when some middle aged white guy wins for whatever biopic. if anything you create a non-binary award.

Honestly though, I’m rooting for Culkin. Dude was unreal this season. But if he doesn’t win, I’ll be ok. I’ve pre-grieved.

MarSolo
I’m pissed Shrinking didn’t get nominated for best comedy series and Harrison Ford didn’t get it for Best Supporting. He stole the show.

It would be funny if they did the awards with just random dudes presenting the awards to no one in particular. I would watch that and I haven't watched the Emmys in a decade. Missed opportunity if you ask me
