I started writing that as a joke, but honestly with the SCOTUS we have that is what we are looking at over at least the next 10 or 20 years.

There is a good chance they have 5 votes to green light anything short of a state compelling an individual to convert to a religion of the state's choosing.....and they have a few votes at least even for that.

And how many colleges are going to have their budgets cut in Lake County? Or Sumpter? Or Okeechobee? Or Marion? Or Volusia? Or Flagler? Or Jackson?

Compared to Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Hillsborough, Palm Beach, Broward, or Miami-Dade?

This is so flagrantly corrupt. This is what dictatorships do.

Wow who would have thought that we didn't just get this out of our system in the 1950s.

Shout out to all of the Andrew Sullivans and Bret Stevens of the world who have spent the past five years writing about how there's a campus free speech problem coming from the left because an adjunct professor said Socrates was problematic or something.

Both things can be true.

Either way, there is no way this holds up in court. Political and religious tests are completely illegal and unconstitutional.
