Joe Biden beats Donald Trump, officially making Trump a one-term twice impeached, twice popular-vote losing president

So, there is definitely something wrong happening in the results being released.

At least one county where Sanders votes were allocated in the official results to Patrick and Steyer.

@RedSoxFan9 would be GREAT to have here about now!

Maybe we shouldn't give one tiny state party the perception that they get to pick the nominee and then let them roll on with volunteers and no oversight. Oversight is what looks like killed the whole system and even assuming no nefarious intent - the inability to successfully operate under scrutiny is unacceptable.

Sun shine is the best disinfectant, Bernie or Warren as the nominee would let their people (who hate the DNC) open the books and clean house.

Either make all the primaries the same day or abolish them and let the Democratic Party elites choose their candidate.

Eh, same day is terrible (all same day means no Obama but Hillary in 08) but there needs to be 1-2 smaller rounds of small, demographically diverse states before a super Tuesday-like national voting day with ranked choice.

Under absolutely no circumstances should the party elites choose the candidate.

Those are the same thing. Only the well known party faithful would ever secure nominations with same day primaries. Lesser known candidates can only rise to prominence by strategic wins in the early states, and even then name ID makes it much less likely they will win.

A brokered convention is a very real possibility right now

The only thing not factored in here is whether they can all financially stay in it. From my recollection Sanders, Buttigieg, and Bloomberg can, Biden and Warren need some fundraising help at this point.

Exactly, if this happens it's over for Biden.
