Yeah I really dig The Devil Rides Out as well. My old roommate introduced me to it in one of our 'listen to Sabbath and smoke tons of weed with a doomy Horror flick on the tv' sessions back in the day. Regarding The Omen, it's weird because I always remembered it as a great movie but really, it's boring and weirdly devoid of atmosphere despite the blaring, melodramatic soundtrack trying its hardest.

Same for me, it's one of those movies that's so trashy and bizarre that it just veers into accidental surreal weirdness. I really dig movies like that.

The Omen - 6/10 Maybe sacrilege but I never really thought The Omen was a particularly fun to watch, nor good, movie. I hadn't seen it in many years so figured I should revisit it and I surprisingly liked it even less this time around. It definitely has some great scenes and moments of course but I don't really like the flow of it and it just never clicks with me and I end up feeling bored. There's a weird soap quality to a lot of it that I can't get over. Weirdly enough, I don't mind that shit in Hammer Horror etc. at all.

Wah wahhhhhhh my chances of getting a horrible disease were only drastically lowered for a long stretch of time after I sacrificed a few hours of my incredibly valuable time I would've spent verbally abusing 12 year olds in FartCraft XIII online. To think I had to go to a place, sit at a place, possibly wait for a bit while bitching on reddit about it all on my incredibly expensive palm-computer and then shuffle my sweatpants-clad self back home without actually doing anything myself...the humanity. Also thought the game looked pretty rough in that small snippet there. The jump does look like Sekiro...which looks really weird in context because it's a dude with armor and a heavy sword flying ten feet high instead. I do think it's some early/test/whatever footage though as well. There don't seem to be enemies or anything and the grass and trees almost look semi-placeholder-ish even compared to From's usual environmental assets. I really haven't been excited about any of the footage shown so far so I think I might just be finally burnt out on the Souls formula. Still signed up for the network test just now though

I actually almost called it Gothic Horror-ish, especially compared to the relatively 'modern' first film. Actually gonna revisit it next week.

Few things cause more sincere revulsion in me than the thought of those kinds of deep sea ship wrecks and the shit that goes on down there.

I actually really like Halloween II but mostly for the atmosphere and setting. There's something inherently eerie about that hospital at night and there are many really shadowy shots with long dark hallways and so on. It's very different and not GREAT per say but I always thought it's really the only cool sequel. Halloween III is fun but...I mean yeah. I just don't care for any other Halloween movie I've ever seen.

I've rarely seen this game come up anywhere but kept seeing it on PSN sales lists over the years. It's basically an indie Ghosts 'N Goblins clone...or based on its quality I'd call it a spiritual successor I guess? In short, it's actually a really great game with a good, memorable soundtrack and first and foremost very good and challenging encounter design. It was just on sale for dirt cheap, not sure how much it is now. If you're into Ghosts... obviously or old school Castlevania, check this game out

There are several seemingly very successful channels that do analysis of full police interrogation room footage and shit. It's supposed to be in service of analyzing the psychology but my argument with my girlfriend was partially that this seems like bullshit circus freak style entertainment with some questionable source giving their 'expert' opinion once every shocking twenty minutes. Maybe there is some merit I just don't get, she's way smarter than me really, but it looks like exploitative, tasteless garbage to me.

The fact D1P has a GIF button, built-in memes and reactions to endlessly antagonize other posters with should be enough to impress the shit out of them.
