  1. I just counted and I have 14 subfolders in my Inbox. Three of those subfolders have subfolders with one having a total of 23 subfolders.
  2. The country is run by a guy who's rocking Doofy Gilmore's haircut from Scary Movie, so yeah...
  3. I actually just saw Sweet Sweetback at a friend's house last month. What a flick, thoroughly enjoyed it especially as a time capsule. I had seen his name around but same as SFLUFAN, I really mostly knew of him as Mario's dad.
  4. I had to lob a diversion grenade, which we all know is a food post on D1P, after that race post. Worked like a fucking charm
  5. One of the most baffling things about my short stint in Cali was actually how much people there love In N Out. The fries are terrible and the burgers are okay at best.
  6. Absolutely and I think I probably read the post wrong and/or jumped to conclusions because of personal experiences. I read it as "opioid crisis = white problem and fuck the victims", which is why I posted what I did. I've actually been waiting for the War On Drugs to become a topic of wider discussion considering what an utter debacle that was and remains.
  7. Yeah, I think it's a poor thing in general. My family had real shit food where I grew up and the war generation basically turned any meat into leather and all gristle and fat had to be eaten as well and I'm not exaggerating. I actually can't eat plain slabs of meat on a plate to this day because of that association, it was fucking disgusting.
  8. Opioid crisis isn't either, or at the very least black people OD'ing on synthetic opioid based drugs are catching up fast. I check the statistics here and there because I have a bit of a personal investment in the situation and just between 2015 and 2017, in metro areas the number of black ODs tripled, with hispanic being something like a 50% increase and white around 25%.
  9. Fuck, Subnautica is such a great game. I went in knowing absolutely nothing about it and it's so damn good. I didn't realize this was Exploration: The Game.
  10. Politicians across the board must love the fact that they've tricked the American public into thinking begging online is more dignified and personal freedom than having a functioning healthcare system.
  11. I'm so sick of seeing this guy's stupid fucking face so I figured I'd cheer everyone up a bit with it instead:
  12. I agree. I have my moments of 'yeah fuck you!' glee but ultimately most of these people got played by a completely callous system and leave complete familial destruction in their wake. Personal responsibility and all, yeah, but still, nobody wins and said system keeps mainlining these people straight destruction and death.
  13. The longer I live, the more I find myself sympathizing with stories of political figures being put in front of firing squads in public squares. Some crimes just deserve nothing less than barbaric revenge. That's a show I'd pay well for.
  14. My favorite part is actually this Devlog video where they're trying their absolute best to not just be like "I mean, it's fucking Dead Space dude, you know the deal". Wow, a big space ship, you don't say!
  15. I actually did go to high school but only for about four months unfortunately I think?
  16. Osmosis Jones My girlfriend made me watch this. I still am not entirely sure what the fuck I watched and how its existence even happened. Truly bizarre, pretty fun and genuinely disgusting all at once.
  17. Just wanted to quote you because you're right on the money. Here we are two years later and their "Gameplay Trailer" cuts away whenever the protag isn't slow-walking through an ominous corridor. It even cuts away when there's the ultra-generic Dead Space knockoff enemy.
  18. I've had a shit commute via car since I moved out to the suburbs. I'm planning my move back to the city by next spring.
  19. I really like The Evil Within but the stamina meter was stupidly small. I remember constantly dumping upgrades into that.
  20. Your reply made me check out a few of his movies and actually...some of them made quite a bit of bank if box office vs. budget is a metric I can go by. I was surprised to see that Arrival seems quite successful, thought that one went under the radar.
  21. Yeah I saw that, it looks promising and I like Villeneuve a lot. Just didn't really enjoy the trailers myself. Looks alright so far. I do dig the soundtrack though.
