It's up in the air. I want to do it, but I'm going to be out of the country for the first two weeks of the season plus some other travel later. So I might have to scale it back or come up with a different competition for this season. So I'm gonna run *something* I'm just not sure yet what it'll be.

Door doesn't open for another hour and a half and the Lorcana line is already out of the convention center onto the sidewalk outside.

I don't know if people are price speculating or what, but the Lorcana line was just as insane today at GenCon day 2. Hundreds of people, some of whom were in line overnight, just waiting to get their hands on this. I know some folks got the product and immediately put it up on eBay, but plenty of other folks were just jazzed for the game and knew this was their only shot at picking some up at MSRP for the foreseeable future. I personally dont get it because there have been dozens of Disney games over the years and licensed TCGs don't often survive. But for the sake of the fans I hope this one works out. Tomorrow is going to be apeshit. Biggest day of the con and a lot of people are going to be wasting half of it trying to get ahold of Lorcana.

I usually hit them first thing in the a.m. Once people start waking up it's usually jampacked during con.

Never got into it. I tried a few times and they just didn't grab me. I don't think I've beaten any outside of the original. Legendary series, just never hooked me for some reason.

I lost my pair of Pixel Buds Pro a few months back and they're like $70 off on Amazon today so I took the opportunity to replace them. That's it so far.

I've never minded showing my ID for anything. The only time I get privacy squeamish is when I run into a place that insists on scanning in the PDF417 barcode on the back of licenses instead of just reading the date off the front. But I don't get mad at the employee or anything. In those cases I just politely decline and put my stuff back and go elsewhere to buy whatever it is I was going to buy.

Hey I can finally watch Ted Lasso! I saw the first two episodes on an in-flight channel on a work trip a few years back and always wanted to finish it but didn't want to pay for yet another streaming service. Thanks for the heads-up.

So I started NG+ in "Final Fantasy" mode. Still not very difficult but it's nice to be getting experience points again. A lot of the encounters have different monsters in them and bosses are a bit more aggressive. It's a nice change of pace.
