  1. I haven nothing to say really, seems like it's not a very exciting class this year. Here's the draft order
  2. Antonio Brown on the move?
  3. The resolution of this matter is subject to a confidentiality agreement so there will be no further comment," said a joint statement by his lawyers and the NFL.

  5. Date: Sunday, February 3, 2019 Game Start Time: 6:30 pm ET Location: Mercedes Benz Stadium - 1 AMB Drive NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30313 Please enjoy this rematch of Super Bowl XXXVI from 2002 (Brady also played in that game) and the Patriots 3rd consecutive Super Bowl appearance. Also, enjoy the halftime show, Maroon 5, the best music Georgia has to offer!

  9. We've finally made it to the end of the season friends. The Colts and the Titans both 9-6 are fighting for that last playoff spot in the AFC. The Steelers need a miracle to make it. The Vikings and Eagles are the only other really important games. Good luck to those fans of those teams!
  10. No Thursday night game this week but it seems like a lot of substantial games are happening. Colts, Titans, Dolphins and Browns are in the hunt for AFC and the whole NFC East and Panthers still have a shot.
  11. Oakland's been in the news lately, firing their GM, the city of Oakland filing a lawsuit against the Raiders, overall a terrible season even by Raiders standards. On the flip side, the most important division game of the year is on a Thursday night. Also there are two awesome Saturday night games coming and New England vs Pittsburgh probably should be flexed to Sunday Night. Chicago has a revenge game against Green Bay, a game they should have won but Rodgers was motivated to win. This week maybe not so much. NFC East is still up for grabs!
  12. So Patriots can clinch AFC title this week if they beat the Dolphins. Texans can clinch AFC south if Titans lose Saints clinch NFC south with a win or panthers loss Rams clinched last week.
  13. So a lot of the games look like they are going to be bad. New Orleans at Dallas (but Thursday ugh.), Minnesota at New England, Chargers at Pissburgh I guess. This would be the first time I've seen a Chargers game all season!
  14. No Chiefs or Rams this week, if you've got a fantasy team you might have a chance this week!
  15. Obviously the marquee game to watch this week is the 9-1 Chiefs at the 9-1 Rams. Sadly the game won't be played in Mexico anymore so the fans can actually go to the game now.
  16. I made this thread earlier just for the Dez news. I doubt anyone cares in the end though. Thursday game looks good for a change. The rest of the week not so much.
  17. Almost forgot there is an amazing game between two 1 win bay area teams tonight.
  18. Judging by this schedule there seems to be a lot more tricks on the list. Green Bay vs Rams, New Orleans vs Minnesota looking like the highlights of the week. New England gets another prime time game and against Buffalo this might be an ugly one to watch. And do we think the Browns and the Steelers can tie again?!
  19. Some big bets and some great predictions scrambled the top half of the leaderboard pretty heavily this week! Out of the fray comes Alpha1Cowboy who climbs to the top of the hill going into the half-way point of the regular season! -= WEEK 7 RESULTS =- Feature Game: The Broncos trampled the Cards, blowing away the -2.5. Bets on Denver win. Questions: 1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Broncos TD, Broncos FG, Broncos safety, Cardinals TD, Cardinals FG, Cardinals safety, or other? Teams on a Bye don't count, smartasses. ($1,500 for the correct answer) Any 2 of the Cardinals, Bills, Jags, 49'ers, and Bengals gets the cash here, but only mikechorney and the thewhyteboar got it right. 7) How many total field goals (not including PATs) will be attempted in the Rams @ 49'ers game? You make your bet and answer the questions simply by posting on the thread each week with your pick for the featured game along with your bet, followed by your answers to the prediction questions. 2. Everyone starts with $1,000. If a user doesn't start until week 3, they still start with $1,000. Your best bet it to get in early and play every week. 3. If you somehow reach $0 you are not out of the competition. You can't bet on the feature game during weeks that you are broke, but you can answer the prediction questions and hope to earn cash to gamble the following week. 4. IMPORTANT: I will set a deadline for getting your entries for the week in (usually before kick-off of that week's first game). It is imperative that you make your post before the deadline. The entry thread will be locked at the deadline so if you don't get your entry in by then you lose out on the chance to make money that week. 5. I work full time AND coach youth football AND go to school when I can AND have a near crippling gaming addiction AND probably drink too much. Responsibilities and personality flaws allowing, I will attempt to post the results and the next week's game/questions each Tuesday, as early as possible. Keep in mind though that there may be some wackiness here and there based on my schedule and hangovers. Pay attention. 6. For the official recording of stats/yardage NFL.com will be used. Whatever their site says on Tuesday morning is what counts. No whining. 7. Accounts created within the current calendar month are not eligible to play and any entries from such accounts will not be considered. -= Previous Weeks =- Week 1 Week 2 Week 3 Week 4 Week 5 Week 6 Week 7
  20. That's right, you might have forgotten this was a thing but we have our first international game of the year! I'm sure you'll all wake up early to watch this electrifying matchup between the Chargers and Titans! (Turns out it is the second but I'm leaving the original text for shame purposes)
  21. A huge shake-up in the standings this week as Biggie is finally knocked from his perch and BasemntDweller2 takes his place atop the leader board! We're almost at the halfway point of the regular season and it's still anyone's game as the stakes get higher each week! -= WEEK 6 RESULTS =- Feature Game: The Eagles dismantled the hapless Giants by a score of 34-13, easily covering the -3. Bets on the Birds win. 1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Eagles TD, Eagles FG, Eagles safety, Giants TD, Giants FG, Giants safety, or other? ($900 for the correct call) The first play was a 13 yard Wentz TD pass to Alshon Jeffery (Eagles TD). BasemntDweller2 and mikechorney were the only players to call this correctly. 2) Which team in the Feature Game will turn the ball over the most? ($800 for the correct call) Team's were actually pretty careful with the ball in this one, but Eli's gotta Eli. Calls on New York win. 3) The Cleveland Browns haven't won 2 games in a row since 2014. Does that change this week? ($800 for the right answer) Cleveland is nothing if not consistent. ($1,000 for the correct answer) The Ravens blank the Titans resulting in the week's lowest combined score of 21. Slug was the only player to call this one. 7) How many extra point attempts will be missed in Week 6? ($1,500 for the number) 2 extra points were missed in week 6. 8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in Week 6. 22. Only two undefeated teams are out there, Rams and Chiefs. On the flip side there are no winless teams through 5 weeks which is impressive going by past seasons. So either a lot of teams are equally as bad or the bad teams got better.
