  1. In that case, give it to everyone. There are wrongful death victims whose families havent been paid that much. These ladies put up with dick and fart jokes.
  2. I hope Plague Tale makes it to console GP (I would be surprised if it didn't). My PC could probably only manage to render three rats at a time.
  3. Hopefully with Microsoft bankrolling it, they can afford to take a few more chances and mix it up a bit. They were a studio living game-to-game so it's understandable they'd play it safe while gambling with their own money.
  4. It was the right game at the right time. It didn't have to be good. It just had to work lol. It released at a point when people were frustrated with Bethesda for fucking up their own winning formula, EA was shitting all over everyone with their lootbox bs, and Ubi was releasing the broken mess that was Ghost Recon Breakpoint. To back up @Xbob42 's point, even a stripper with a peg leg can look good if all the other ones trip and break their necks trying to get up on stage.
  5. There have already been a handful of games I've played and enjoyed that I never would have, if I had to purchase them.
  6. I'll still do the majority of my gaming on the XBSEX. I don't game on my PC because i don't want to.
  7. Not officially. I think they were going to wait and see how successful the Osaka one will be. But I mean, c'mon... I don't have free room and board in Osaka. I also don't have a passport. I also don't like flying. Just forget it, I'm staying home.
  8. I'll wait a few years and go to the one in Orlando. They better have employees in Koopa costumes just walking back and forth in a straight line.
  9. Hopefully they'll step up and have a bigger presence at the smaller events. They had a pretty cool Days Gone booth at PAX South last year. Not that I really want PAX to turn into an E3, but it would be nice if Sony, MS, and Nintendo had a little bit bigger presence. I never get to go to E3 but PAX South is in my backyard.
  10. 2 Xbox One (XBO, XBX) 1 PS4 1 Switch I've only ever owned one of each console. The Xbox One X was the first time I've ever purchased a new console while still owning another. I bought a Falcon Xbox 360 back when they came out because they had the built-in HDMI ports and weren't prone to RROD, but when I did I sold my old one. Still have my OG Xbox, PS3, PS2, 360, Gamecube, Dreamcast, Wii, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance SP, and N64.
  11. One thing that I've kinda been wondering though, is that they still may have to support legacy hardware. That internal SSD is only going to be 1 TB, and we have no idea how much space next gen games will take up. If I wanted to expand my storage by more than an extra 1 TB without having to spend a small fortune, I'll still have to go with an HDD. I'm assuming most others would do the same.
  12. Even if you're joking, they've already kinda hinted at that. Not so much only playing it through XCloud, but using XCloud to give it the extra processing boost. There's very much a possibility that playing Halo Infinite online could be similar to Crackdown 3. All the local computations exist in the XBO, but the server-side world state is done by the Cloud. (We all know Crackdown 3 was just a tech test). There's also the possibility that additional processing could make the bells and whistles look better on base XBO than they would, as long as they're playing online. I'm not saying this is how it will work, but it's not outside of what MS has hinted at before.
  13. I'm exactly the opposite, my investment is in XBL. I have over 400 games in my 'Ready to Install' list. That being said, I'll still buy a PS5 eventually, as I've owned every Playstation. It's just not my primary console. However, I think MS knows the 100+ million Sony owners aren't going to suddenly flip a switch and buy into Xbox. That's why they're pushing Game Pass Ultimate and XCloud. They know a Pony can sub to Game Pass and play the new Halo without having to bear the shame of owning an Xbox. Also, let's not forget that Sony now leases their servers from MS.
  14. Yeah... I'm skeptical. I do 90% of my gaming on my Xbox and it sounds great in theory, but I plan on getting a Series X day one and if Series X games are gimped to run on XBO then it's going to show, no matter what fancy bells and whistles you lay over it. It's not really the same thing as PC development, where developers can make the game they want to make and then set their own minimum system requirements. Here, MS is forcing them to a minimum system requirement, even if it might compromise their creative vision. I can see games like Forza being far more scalable and not really affecting anything, but a game like Halo Infinite will have to have the geometry designed with the base XBO in mind, so as to keep a fair playing field in PVP. That's where things are going to get interesting. Regardless, if Sony has developers making games that only work on PS5, it's easy to think they'll look much better than anything MS is forcing the developers to limit themselves on. C'mon MS, you were finally on the right track, don't shoot yourselves in the foot again. EDIT: After thinking about it some more, it's all about the Game Pass. It would be interesting to see how they would portray a compartmentalized Game Pass, where base XBO owners could play some games, but not others. It could definitely be done, but I don't know if that's the image MS wants for now. Maybe a year or two after launch they will slowly phase out support for the XBO.
  15. Atari 2600. It was technically my brother's, though. I guess the first console that was actually mine was the NES.
  16. Developers have got to have dev kits of both by now. I know Sony got theirs out sooner, but since MS has already got a form factor and Phil Spencer says he's already been playing his at home, some devs have got to have kits by now. I realize that dev kits can change as console specs change, but there's got to be a ballpark on each of these by now. It's only a matter of time before the developers start whispering to the media.
