  1. That's fine, but theyre talking like theyre not going to do the same thing all the other indie devs do; make innovative games with meh graphics, or pixel art, which i'm personally tired of. Why cant we ever get interactions, physics, A.I., AND graphical power? I seem to remember a time when games were pushing the boundaries on both ends.
  2. Have him move back to Boston and go back to Cheers. The cast is all still alive, most of them aren't doing much nowadays, except Ted Danson, i think he's still doing The Good Place. Oh and Ratzenburger still gets his annual Pixar gig, but that's not exactly regular work. Oh and have Woody be PotUS. EDIT: Actually, Woody could be PotUS no matter where the show is set. This needs to happen. President Boyd lol.
  3. Why not? She's a great actress. And if people complain that she's white, just put some makeup or shoe polish on her or something. It'll be fine.
  4. So you slap together a building in as little time possible? Sounds like a sim! I'm still waiting for the Highway Dept. game where one player does the work while three other players stand and watch. Budget? Doesn't matter! And you have a five minute time limit, but once it expires, you're free to just play a little at a time and finish the stage whenever you feel like it.
  5. I just got accepted into the XCloud beta.. I'm playing Forza Horizon 4 right now, and when I logged in it synced my play status immediately... Some things to note: My bandwidth is 1Gb but my wifi is significantly slower. My phone I'm playing on is an unlocked Moto G6. FH4 seemed to load faster on xCloud than it does on my X. Latency is definitely there, audio is choppy at times, but the picture looks good and I was able to do an event where I couldn't wreck the car and completed it without much trouble; the damage I did do was my own fault and not because of lag/input latency. I did play a little bit of Soul Calibur VI and it also played really well, but it was my first time playing it so I have no basis for comparison with local play. From what I can gather, MS's beta is already better than Stadia (which I haven't personally tried, and probably won't due to its high barrier for entry). EDIT: For the app itself, fairly responsive, but notifications can be a bitch. I had a friend that kept texting me during a play session and it kept throwing up the message over my game. Super annoying. Might have to go on Do Not Disturb while I play.
  6. Game of the Year - Control (Remedy/505 Games) - Death Stranding (Kojima Productions/SIE) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Bandai-Namco/Sora/Nintendo) - Resident Evil 2 (Capcom/Capcom) - Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice( From Software/Activision) - The Outer Worlds (Obsidian/Private Division) Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are people out there that enjoy the hell out of it. I haven't personally played it, but I am curious how one of the most divisive love it/hate it games of the year can even be in this category. Surely there had to be ONE other game out there that deserve to be in there. Keighly swinging on Kojima's nuts for the past few years, and now a (according to others) mediocre game is nominated for GotY? Seems fishy, and kinda tarnishes the legitimacy of the show, imo.
  7. This is already a thing though. I mean, most companies do it via remote desktop into their own private servers, but MS has been offering services like this for a while. The only benefit would be for individuals, but even then, the cost of something like that would probably rival that of just building your own rig. Even 3D Studio MAX and Adobe utilize monthly subs now.
  8. I always wonder why Lucifer constantly wants to destroy the Earth. We bring him plenty of business. Isn't that like killing your golden goose? This does seem like a missed opportunity to finally be able to play as all four horsemen though. I'm assuming Death and Fury are NPC's?
  9. chocolate brownies... you don't need a recipe. Just make chocolate brownies and mix in the peppers. You won't regret it.
  10. I'm on the very last stage on Strange Brigade and have played the entire thing solo. Its probably better with a friend, but withstanding waves of enemies all by yourself gets very tedious due to the dact you're constantly walking backwards while shooting, rolling here or there, getting some distance, then walking backwards while shooting some more. Plus the stages can take an hour+ to complete. I just wish the game wasnt so damn gorgeous. At least then it would be easier to walk away from.
  11. I didn't play long enough for that. I played the first mission after the tutorial intro, but I just wasn't feelin it. The game starts off pretty slow. I'll probably give it another go soon. If i slogged my way through Strange Brigade, i can deal with this for a few missions and see how it pans out.
  12. Sure, if you like rubbing your controller. Either a genie's gonna pop out one day or it'll spontaneously combust, and my luck's not good enough for a genie.
  13. Still with the touchpad? Also, concave thumbsticks and we'll talk. Until then
  14. Hey maybe I'll use my Switch for something other than Asphalt 9! (It's not a quality thing, it's a price thing)
  15. I noticed that ABZU is leaving soon so i decided to give it a play since its pretty short. I did not regret it. If you havent played it, it's only about two hours, give or take, and its wonderful. Man I love game pass
  16. The gunplay is really fun. Everything else is meh. With all the tech and bells and whistles that modern consoles/pc's are capable of, open world is really limiting the possibilities. I was lamenting the other night while playing Ghost Recon that even though the Behemoths in the game are a decent challenge, they're still not as imposing as when you'd come across a tank bank in the day and it was blowing up everything around you. Game worlds nowadays are just so static, when it should be the opposite. Remember how exciting BLACK was when it first came out? We should be experiencing that x100.
  17. Honestly, they could've just ripped off the first season of classic Star Trek and I would've been happy.
  18. I want to say that there actually has been a major third party release day one on GP. I'll have to look back and see what it was.
  19. I hope they're developing a console version alongside it this time, now that they know it'll work. Here's to hoping for better balancing though; i played through the original campaign without too much effort then got absolutely annihilated in the endgame. At least tell me my build is shit before i put in a good 50 hours or so
