    Honestly the main turn-off for me would be if those buttons/analogs are the same as the ones on the joycons. Fortunately they put a true d-pad on it, so that would relieve a few of my frustrations, but I still think the analogs feel kinda wonky. I've never really been able to get used to them.

    That was an excellent series... and the sad thing is, with the tech that devs have now, there's absolutely no reason why there couldn't be a mindblowing sequel (or at least a spiritual successor) in the works. The lack of representation of this genre is puzzling. It's like they forgot how to make them.

    You should watch the Olympics more often. For every one negative story that comes out of any given Olympic Games, there are dozens of positive ones. And it's been the epitome of competition for a century.

    Wait... PS4 and PC? So much for that. My PS4 is my single player machine. All my online stuff is XBX. Not paying for PS+ for one party game.

    I'm down. It would be funny if at the end of the game they realize they've been kicking ass the whole time to save two pansy man-children and decide they don't really need them around anyway.

    Except they keep making the same mistakes. Over and over. They just put them in a different wrapper and slap a different label on them. This isn't something that happened once or twice over the past few years. It's an endless cycle that pretty much everyone in the industry can recognize at a glance because they've been doing it for years. This guy can eat shit.

    AAA - The games you pretend you hate, but play the most AA - The games you want, but don't want to pay for Indie - The games you really want, but only play for ten minutes.

    I enjoyed the game quite a bit but the combat could be really clunky at times. The close quarter combat mechanics were pretty poor, which was kind of important because the infected would bum rush you if you made a noise. Most of the time it was used as punishment for failing a stealth section, but there was a time or two when you were forced to fight waves of them and those were easily the worst parts of the game. I will be 100% happier if they ditch that mechanic for TLoU2. That said, those segments are few and far between, and they're not bad enough to tarnish the rest of the game.

    The ironic thing is that Sony already gets tons of exclusives without even trying, simply because Japanese devs are racist don't like supporting that western console. Well, shit. How many jobs will we want to get to afford this one?

    I actually think the reason we haven't seen an Alan Wake 2 was specifically because MS held the publishing rights. They've probably been sitting on it on purpose just waiting for that contract to expire. Now they don't have to worry about exclusivity.

    But that's the dilemma. Neither one of them can get rid of their GWG/PS+ games without the other using it as ammo. Coupled with the poor look it would be to remove a feature from a service that stays the same price. I personally wouldn't mind seeing GWG fade away, especially if it meant MS could use that money to secure day one Game Pass releases.

    Looking forward to finally playing Inside. Have owned Castlevania ever since it released on 360, but for those who don't have it, that's a win. Something I've been wondering since E3 though is that Microsoft said they were ending their BC efforts on XBO to focus on Scarlet, so I'm assuming that all of the 360 GWG games for the next year and a half will be rehashes or games that are already BC. I can see them killing off the 360 inclusions once Scarlet/Anaconda releases but hopefully not before then.

    No, but when Nintendo's idea of a "sale" is knocking five dollars off of a last-gen game, and it's still more expensive than it was the first time around, those indie games going for less than ten bucks look mighty appealing.

    <---- lives in South Texas Not to speak on behalf of anyone else's mexican food, but I've been to restaurants in other states that offer "authentic" mexican/tex-mex food, and most of them are so far off it's not even funny. It gets worse the further north you get. The reasoning is simple; they might have had "authentic" mexican food at some point, but it never sold, because what the people that went there expected was tex-mex or american mexican food, so they adapted to what the people wanted. They still advertise it as "authentic" cuz that's what gets people in the door. Just like how chinese restaurants have sweet n sour chicken and beef n broccoli, despite the fact that chinese people would never eat that shit in a million years.

    The thing is, there really isn't a "PUBG Universe." The game is fun but its about as generic as it gets. Adding any kind of aesthetic to it will arguably make it "not PUBG". If its a good game, it could probably stand on its own without the PUBG name.
